Also, using spare wood laying around to be cost effective. Not suppose to be "HiFi" quality, but the results I am experiencing from the speakers and the D-amp is quite satisfactory - the loudness/amplitude is excel...

    • @RAVENFinewoodworking
      @RAVENFinewoodworking 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not sure I understand correctly, a 'router plane' I am using here is designed to make sure a certain consistant depth is maintained for a surface (using a higher reference surface). With a normal plane (if I could get one small enough) would be difficult to guarantee same depth throughout in the groove, plus normal plane would not be able to trim the sides at the wall of the groove. :)

    • @RAVENFinewoodworking
      @RAVENFinewoodworking 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately Ulima/ECE does not sell the blade holder to any dealer in the US I can find thusfar. When emailing DieterScmidz they never emailed me back about posting to the US. what I was went to Lowe’s and just got some thin steel and made a couple. Not being the best at drilling and tapping I just used a short nut and bolt. They turned out fine. Just not quite as pretty.

    8:12 Клей жестко фиксирует дерево, а дерево из-за перепадов влажности меняет размеры. Не изогнет ли конструкцию в будущем? Обычно же делают скользящее соединение. Внешне красиво очень получилось.

      You are right, wood will expand/contract due to humidity changes, however, the question is not if, but by how much it will change. In this case, house humidity changes very slowly through the seasons, the wood is coated which acts a resistance to rate of change, the wood is kiaat which is much more stable than other woods like oak etc, back of panel is open which can accommodate some cross grain expansion and the panel is thin, ie flexible. Will monitor it, maybe in the future give and update on it. Regards
