10 Don't Forget to Say Thanks
When Jesus healed the ten lepers of their horrible disease, how many returned to give Him thanks? Ten? Nine? No. Try… just one! Which will you be? “Are you like the nine who walked away? Or will you run to Him and say ‘Thanks’?”

09 Good Samaritan
Sung by the victim, to the blues, (of course), listen to his plight (in a minor key), and then his relief, (in a major key)! Imagine the celebration and thanks the victim poured out to God as the Good Samaritan provided such comfort.
08 My Father's Business
Sung by Mary, Joseph and young Jesus, as they search the streets of Jerusalem. Can you imagine losing the Son of God? For three days! Yikes! And where did they find Him? No surprise, sitting with the wise men in the temple, amazing them with his questions and active passion for the stories of God’s people, Israel. Progressive rock to convey their fears and relief.
07 Hole in My Roof
The home-owner complains in song, about the hole chopped in his roof by the good friends of a paraplegic. ‘The crowd was thick, and their friend was sick, so they lowered him down, through the second floor!” Everybody sings as the scene is re-created by this comical, bumbling brigade.
06 The Centurion's Secret
“I too, am a man under authority!” How did this Roman, Gentile soldier, know the secret of Jesus’ power? It was obvious to him; (which delighted Jesus, BTW.) Just as everything he did was in obedience to the will of his superiors, he likewise knew that everything Jesus did was in direct obedience to His Father. That is where the power abides. Get ready to march!
05 One Basket
The little boy who gave his lunch to Jesus sings his exciting story to us. He had been looking forward to Jesus’ teaching, with around 5000 people in attendance. But as the boy looked around for other people who might have brought food, he realized that he was the only one! Imagine seeing Jesus take your little gift and making it into enough food to feed everyone! All starting with, ‘One basket...
04 Nehemiah's Wall
Sung by the slaves slowly in a minor key, as Nehemiah organizes the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem, we work harder and faster! (Be sure to bring your hammer and saw to the job and make building sounds!) As you know, Jesus rebuilds our lives, using the rubble and re-building the ‘city-gates’ of our souls as we help; by studying the word of God and taking His truths to heart.
03 Matthew's Song
His Jewish name was Levi. He was permitted by the Romans to pocket a portion of the taxes he collected, thereby making a very good income for himself. But upon meeting Jesus, Matthew gladly left his tax-booth behind, and famously, invited all his fellow sinners to a dinner where he introduced them to his new friend and Savior. They all agreed they had never met anyone like Jesus! Rock-on!
02 The Lost Coin
Jesus asked whether a Shepherd would leave his other sheep to find the one who was lost; and in the same vein, asked if a woman would leave her other coins and rejoice upon finding the one coin that she had lost, just as Jesus rejoices, as we are like the lost coin, whom upon rescuing us from sin, then ‘polishes’ as His special possession. Not only does the good lady rejoice, but she also sings...
1] The Camel in the Needle: (song)
Jesus pointed out the obstacle that the love of money presents to His followers. He pointed out the small portal alongside of the gates of ancient Jerusalem as an analogy. Popularly known as the ‘eye of a needle’, it was where a camel could enter the city after-hours, but only if the goods were first removed from his back. The camel could then enter the city but only through great difficulty. A...
Bible Tails: Full album; continuous 10 songs

Donut Man Originals: #3 of 5: The Donut Man’s third album, recorded in North Hollywood, CA, in 1985, Rob Evans wrote ten songs inspired by Scripture, and from a fresh perspective. Imagine: a camel sings as he squeezes through the eye of a needle; the lady sings about lost her coin; the victim sings about the Good Samaritan’s kindness; the home-owner opines about the hole in his roof; and so on....
13 Children, Children
The first rendition of this song; as a sweet, lullaby. (FYI, it was then re-recorded using a faster tempo, for the ‘On Tour” project, and the ‘Praise Him’ album in the Integrity series.) A tender love-song inviting children to come to Jesus, and experience His love; with their eyes, ears and touch.
12 Jonah Was Alonah
Imagine a circus barker singing about Jonah. "He was alone-ah. That's no balonah! All while a Donut Man-Jonah explains his disobedience; then his discomfort… all from the belly of the whale. It's a whale of a story!
11 Moses Led His People
This song teaches the kids about all of the plagues of Egypt. Try dividing the room down the middle. Kids on the left say ‘swoosh’ and lean left, kids on the right say ‘swoosh’, and lean right while a ‘Moses’ volunteer raises their arm to ‘part the Red Sea’. Everyone sings the chorus, “Swoosh, oh, won’t you open for me!”
10 What Kind of Man is This?
The story of Jesus stopping the rain, the wind and the waves. Several ways to do the song: Divide the group into rain, wind and waves, pause the song after each part and have that group make the sound of rain, then wind, then waves. It is also fun to get a child to play the part of Jesus and yell, “Stop” three times, after each pause, then the sound effect, then “Stop!” Feel free to simply make...
