Hi everyone. I’m really enjoying the build it’s going well so far. Almost done with the road wheels. Thanks for watching.
Armortek Tiger 1 build mounting the Werkstat 5 brass jack! I’m back after a hiatus.
มุมมอง 1.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Wow I can’t believe how long it’s been since I made a move on this beast. I also think I found a solution to microphoning just using my AirPods what a simple solution! Anyway, today we are mounting the aftermarket brass jack from werkstat 5 on my Armortek Tiger tank. Thank you for watching and commenting I love the feedback.
Armortek Tiger RC Tank build update and upgrade parts. Halfway done!

Today I want to show you where I will take a break from building before I ad Zimmerit and look at the upgrades I have planned for the tank.

I too Will one day have my own armortek tank. when I do, ill post of video of it. Awesome Brian glad to see you back with the tank builds
@@CHawkens thanks for the comment! I have the Panther it’s still sitting unfinished just had a 5th baby so not super motivated to work on it but hopefully I get time soon.
Счастливый человек👏
The updated paint scheme you posted to the forum is really great, love the look of the tank now. You need to do another driving video!
Thank you. It’s back on the bench now to hopefully get some weathering.
Hope you have a good Christmas can't wait for an update on your builds
Thank you I am hoping to move to a house with a slightly bigger yard next year so I will have more space to drive tanks.
what size tap Brian? 🙂
Idk I have a set from harbor freight I just matched one of those
@@brianostlind9662 will check with Armortek and let you know. Just taken delivery of the Tiger 1 in the UK. Thank you for all the videos Brian, an excellent overview of what to expect from this project, from what may at times, seem quite a task!

A Dream😊Greetings from Switzerland😊
What a beast ! in more correctly filmed, just missing exhaust smoke....Brian lucky you are, anyway don't like from Armotek : their prices, and their weight.....remember well : Tiger never die ! take care and have fun ..................thanks for sharing : )
A Dream schön zu zusehen😊
I want one 😍.
That’s savage
good job , thx for video👍
Great looking tiger fantastic job building it
Looking awesome mate!
Looking really great and goes like a real Tiger but if may looks really squeaky too clean! I suppose that you're planning by weathering it up but I'm not criticising you, rather I'm envious that you have such beautiful tank!! 👍👍
Haha thank you and yes it is a work in progress.
Looking good brian.
Awsome. Great video. Greets from Norway
Very nice Brian.
Wow! All done! That would probably take me a year to finish.
Took me two and a half years
Pretty cool!
Wait, the interleaved roadwheels have independent suspension? Way to go, man!
How did you mount your spare tracks to the terret?
I bent some strips of brass and glued them to the turret
Makes since, do you use the same product for your weld joints as the zimerit, and what tool do you do it with?
Stunning. Nice work
Nice camera work! The tiger looks great and runs like a tiger should!
Epic tank build!
Another great episode it's looking good so far can't wait to see it completed How is the universal carrier coming on
Thank you carrier build got painted and shelved. Just working on Panther and tiger now.
It's shaping up nicely! Always fun opening new boxes of parts. Like Christmas morning. 👍
Nice build there young man. You sure are going to have a hard time lifting it from that table when it's %75 done. I'm currently making the plans to scratch build one from styrene in 1/6th as well.
It’s a brute but it’ll be driving off the table when it’s ready
@@brianostlind9662 Good! I'll be watching your progress!!
Will you being using that 24v battery in the Tank all the time. Reason I ask is I always see people using two 12v batteries.
Yeah. I have a stronger one than this but I prefer a single battery.
What was the make of the RC controller again? I might get one for my M26.
It’s the JR t44
Where did you get the jack at, it's very detailed
Looks great so far keep the updates coming would be great to see more episodes from you
Very nice Sir ,stunning model will look good with Zimmerit not a fan of doing it oneself but will be the biz. Welljell 👍👍
Did you buy the standard Panther kit only, or did you buy the panther kit, Motion, sound and gun recoil upgrade too?
I’m getting the full upgrades but they haven’t arrived yet. Thank you for watching.
Exciting. Looking great so far. Would it be easier to paint final color on wheels before gluing on tires and final assembly of wheels or will you just tape them before spray? Curious 👍 Thanks
Glueing is messy so you want to do it before painting.
Great video! Can't wait to see more. 🙂
These are beautiful tank kits.
Great job!
Flap sander or roll sander over rat tail file. Those bushings are meant to be slightly tight as they will burnish in over the first few runs and wind up perfectly matching the shaft it’s mounted on.
Magic tap or tap cutting oil. Anti-seize offers little lubrication. It’s purpose is to prevent galvanic action from 2 dissimilar metals. Just an FYI.
Great video
Nice projects! How does your wife let you spend money like that? I've heard kids in the background too.are the finished tanks easy to sell? I'd love to build one but would need to move it along. Thanks for sharing. Steve Probelski
They hold their value well. These are limited edition kits with small production runs. Hope that helps!
I needed this video much thank you
Great model have you thought about building the armortex world war 1 tank ,that thing is amazing
The mark Iv ww1 tank hasn’t been produced in a long time and had a lot of issues with tracks but I’d love to see them re release it in an updated way.
Here is what worked for me on a much thinner piece of steel to stop the flaking, I washed it and was careful with it and then I gave it several clear flat coats to seal it in and it has worked like a charm and I have no more flakes.
It's not a German WWII tank unless it has a bucket hanging on the back end. Must have bucket.
Can you post a link on where you got the jack? Thanks.
The jacks are not a commercial product. I bought it from a craftsman on the Armortek forum named mark lawson.
very Cool
Nice build, love the tiger 1 unfortunately they sold out What option packs did you go for? I've just ordered the panther from Armortek.
