Been watching your channel for years but... Bro....... Runaway capitalism is exactly what's been happening for the past 30 years so you're dead wrong. The only thing that's different is they stopped their smoke&mirror management of the market citing"just a few bad apples" when they got too big too fail & too irresponsible to manage their borrowing from real assets. They, now, directly control it through manipulation unabashedly with NO regard to debt limits because so long as the U.S. dollar is a global medium, they can continue riding their monetary horse. Trump's COVID blunder crashed this market and the "fed", a collection of private banks, printed money off to save it. If it fails again, trust Musk's childish ego where he has been trying to broadcast the need to "reset" the market to dissolve value from the overall participants while he leans on assurances his stocks remain buoyant in value. Even that village idiot knows how his artificial, over-hyped unrealized wealth works. Please stop misinforming people who don't know any better.
Strap - squeeze. Save your knees and back, Brother! Great Build!
Maybe screen to keep leaves out too? Happy holidays from another e.s. goat. 😊
@@walkingwater893 happy holidays to you as well!
Deanna and I have loved your build and choices! Thanks for the update!
@rongray4118 thanks for the kind words!
is having your kitchen/dinning room/living room open to the green house that big of a deal due to you have the second green house providing 2 glass barriers?
@texasscience6580 in our situation, no. It's because we added that extra greenhouse. In most earthships, you would suffer temperature fluctuations if you did not have that 2nd barrier of glass. That said, if you are open to the idea and on a budget I have seen those thermal curtains used in the new earthships that you can open and close to kind of create the same effect.
@@Offgridgoat true. thanks man please keep us updated.
what state are you in? curious what temperatures, rain, ect. you have to accommodate.

nice back ground!
Glad you like it!
This is the first earthship that my wife has actually accepted as a possibility! Any layout or plans available?
@morganbloom5893 we followed the encounter plan but added an extra greenhouse and garage. We are currently working on a website where you can contact us for more info www.offgridgoat.com
You can do wood look ceramic tile.
That would be a great idea. We could not afford that.
It's amazing... great layout. Good feedback about the floor too. Possible in floor heating could be a route for other folks going this way..
@brendenmcbrier73 thanks!
Oh dangit, the video cut off too soon.
Great info! I'm hoping to utilize some Crypto gains here shortly to buy land for my Earthship.
bro this is beautiful.....well done mate
@k1m625 thank you!
Very impressive, I'm in Arizona, the low desert, are you saying your flooring you have is better for temperature or worse? I will battle the heat so I'm leaning on your wisdom and your earthship is so impressive, it really doesn't have an earthship look or feel. I think because we get to 120 in the summer I may not be able to be a liberal with my design?
@Jh-yi8gc thank you. I'm suggesting that the flooring would make the hot in the summer a bit worse. But in my experience, it is minimal enough to compromise with our house being mildly more hotter in the summer. That said, I believe Arizona you would probably want to do everything you can to make sure the building cools itself at the highest efficiency you can get. There is one eship in Arizona that offers tours. I would recommend getting at least 10 different opinions before you start. You might spend a couple grand for people's advice, but the advice will save you a lot of headaches, time, and money. We are currently launching a website to help provide resources to help.
@Offgridgoat thank you and I'm hoping to sign up for your website when you finish it. Also do you know where this earthship tour is in az?
@@Jh---3ee www.offgridgoat.com i will get back to you on Arizona eship

I think your decision to go with a more contemporary look will help make Earthships more accessible to the general public. Very clean look! Great job!
looks great! i like the layout of your earthship and with the second green room/hallway you have. yes concrete is more dense and will absorb more heat from the sun. but would that make the earthship cooler in the summers?
@texasscience6580 I don't believe it would make it cooler in the summer because the floor can suck out heat, and I believe the flooring kind of insulates that affect.
thanks for the info! looking forward to your next tour!
that orange cat is so darn cute!
eartship looks great. I am interested in seeing what else is new and a video tour. just with the few mins showing the earthship i can tell there is a lot of updates since your last tour.
Tweet tweet!
WOM's looking awesome Chad! Killing it big dawg! Never heard of a disinfection filter but makes sense...
@OwnerBuildersUnite thank you! You guys are killing it as well! Disinfection filter does same thing as uv. I believe it's coconut shells and something else manufactured to kill any bacteria. They are great if you are limited with power and don't want to run a uv light all the time.
Love the updates! Thank you for posting! It is NEVER overkill to purify your water - people should be safe!
Do you have a wood or laminate floor? Originally earthships have a floor for storing heat from the sun. Wood doesn't absorb much heat. How is it in your place?
@olgaturbina3052 it is lvp flooring that can survive humidity. Yes, you are correct about storing temperature. It was a compromise I made with my wife. I do believe it has a little effect on temperature, but not a ton. I'm going to do a video about the flooring and a few other things that we went unconventional about our building!

@steveborn3455 they are doing well. It's 85 degrees in greenhouse. Tonight's low of -10 will bring the temp in greenhouse to about 50. But sun again tomorrow:)
@@OffgridgoatThat's amazing! If I remember correctly, you have two chambers or greenhouses buffering the living quarters.
@steveborn3455 yes, in most areas. The living room and kitchen are only seperates by 2 layers of glass. Bedrooms are 3 layers. I'm going to do another video overview soon.
Great! I’ll look forward to seeing the updates.

What is the build cost so far?
All coming together perfect, this home is just incredible. Looks very expense, but I can’t ask for anymore.
This is Exactly, how I want my house. Modern Earth-ship. Is there any build list you can share? I have a couple acres in Puerto Rico. Im looking to build it exactly like this.
Such an inspiration! great work! going to be building a house in Maine modeled after yours with the two greenhouse set up. More updates please..😊
Thanks for posting your results with the cooling system!
No problem!
Love your project. But not loving the microplastics these plastic bottles will fill your pond with.
I hear your concern. I believe microplastics need to be exposed to oxygen and uv to be created. In addition, the cisterns are plastic, as well as the pvc overflow and then the draintile is plastic.
Have you considered posting your plans or layout? You've done an amazing job!
@morganbloom5893 it's basically the encounter which you can get plans on their app for $9. We did modify it with a second greenhouse.
Looking great 🎉 from one earthship builder to another. ❤

looking amazing bro
Relative Humidity is directly dependent on temperature. So, increasing the airflow in the tube will absolutely lower the relative humidity. It’s physics. On the other hand, the dew point of the air doesn’t change with temperature. And with a system like this which uses outside air passing through buried tubes, the moisture is due to the humidity in the outside air. The condensation on the tubes is because the surface of the tube is cooler than the dew point of the air coming in from outside. Increasing air flow will increase the air temperature because the air has less time to transfer its heat into the tube and into the surrounding soil. If the tubes aren’t rusting and the condensation isn’t making a mess then there’s nothing to fix.
This may seem a silly question ,but if you plant all those trees in the greenhouse then will the plants in the planters inside get enough sunlight? Wasn't sure how that would work out.
great idea to have an over flow into a pond
