800+ awhp single turbo Explorer ST dyno!
The world's first 800+ awhp ST! This project has been challenging, to say the least, but after getting the transmission built, Steven Adams finally put the single turbo ST on the dyno! We hit the goal of having a 700+ awhp single turbo fully integrated into the factory calibration, including boost control and controlling the power levels by drive mode with a DMS tune! Now, it's time to refine the setup by changing out to a smaller turbo and swapping the converter again. Smaller turbo should give us a little bit more user-friendly power band. The current setup is making 30 psi by 5100, hoping to drop that 500 rpm.

Finally had the chance to dyno tune the Garrett stage 2 stock location turbos in good weather. This was done with iats of 68* degrees and a near 0 da. @@msokes9 not necessarily, Ive just found that one big turbo is better than two small turbos, but I’ve only done dual to single swaps twice on 335is

I have this same set up only with stage 3 injectors.. and suncoast stage 3 trans. Best I ran was a 10.71.. have all the internals going in in September and get the heads lort/polished. Waiting on suncoast tq converter to arrive and will post a dragy.. great #s bro!!!
@@GODZLLA_ST I appreciate that! I debated going with the stage 3 injectors but didn’t see any need at the time. I’ll have to get them if I decide to build the engine.
@@DaStockST or go direct injection from EMS and upgrade the in tank pump to a brushless in tank pump and you’ll be setting all the records!!

I know this is old but you guys just tuned my 2022 expedition and holy shit this thing rocks - I know it’s just a base tune , but my 2.6 ton grocery getter should not be able to bark tires at 70 mph 😂 yet here we are ! 🤷🏽♂️ I had a ls3 / s475 2013 Tahoe , and this feels damn close to as fast as that was and we haven’t done anything yet revision wise . 700 whp is my end goal for this Y’all are amazing with these ecoboosts ! I had an explorer st before with your tune and that grocery getter embarrassed several stock mustangs , Camaros and challys light to light.

My stock Trackhawk is faster than this. 93 pulley injectors and tune? No way unless the tuner is dogshit lol

Yes, they use the same 3.0 EcoBoost for the Raptor versions of the Bronco and Ranger.

This is probably gonna sound dumb, but what's the difference between this engine and what comes in the Explorer Sport?
The engine that comes in the Explorer sport is a gen 1 and quite a bit different than the longitudinally mounted engines. The biggest downfall of the Explorer sport is the fact that it's a transversely mounted drivetrain which really limits the capabilities overall.

What is the setup on the truck?
This has all of the bolt-ons a built motor a built transmission. The turbo setup is the Garrett stage 2 that we have Modified by CR performance engineering. This truck makes a little over 850 rear wheel horsepower.
