Yes, you are right; as of now, SPFx is only the way to go for this. However, my research is on finding a solution within Canvas where we don't need to display a sign-in button if the user is from the same domain. I will keep you updated on my channel.

Hi, you don't need to do anything, this will get fixed automatically, this takes a time to get it ready state, sometime it takes a couple of minutes to couple of hours. You keep monitoring the status quite often, but sure, if not today, tomorrow you will see in ready state. Just have a relax you don't need to do anything for this. :-)

You can check connection status from the Copilot connection manager page; if it is not in connected state, you need to submit that to get it connected. Generally, connection establishment between your source data connection and Copilot happens automatically when we add a new Power Automate action or custom action to the Copilot topic, but sometimes it doesn't happen automatically on time; it will sync the connection after sometimes automatically, then you don't need to do anything; just wait for sometimes or revisit your work after sometimes, and automatically that error will go away. Nevertheless, if you want an immediate fix, verify your connection manager in Copilot Studio.

​@@MicrosoftTechymuch appreciated, Actually I saw the http request + gen ai video of yours and i followed that. The part where you create a custom formula to add custom data in generative answers did not work. Unfortunately... There is no error just that in the table we have content, contenLocation and both of them are empty when in reality there needs to be a string.

​@@MicrosoftTechyI realise passing the http response object somehow as a string in the content field of the table so that we can add custom data in generative answers. The main issue is converting the response object to string without individually concatenating the field values of the record obj (http response). Can you help.

You can refer to my article as well mentioned in the comment section. Yes, I agree pasing paremeter in custom data section from external data source using http request as table format is not easy, I also had to struggle a lot. You can try this in two ways, generate sample json with your API output, then use parse value to convert the output to table, then directly use this parsed value output to custom data. If this doesn't work formula technique to construct dynamic formula, you can refer to my blog example for this.

Thanks for the response and yes I went through the blog as well however no luck. Parsing does not seem to work as expected the output from HTTP GET is a type record and it's not getting converted to a string so i that can add it to the content field of the table required by custom data. I would appreciate it if you can make a video of how we can connect the API GET Response easily with the copilot so it can act as a custom knowledge source for each query. As you know specifying each field of the Http response is not feasible in all use cases as some api's return tons of fields that make it combursome. I hope you got my point. If this is possible it would open a variety of opportunities with Copilot. Thanks again for your time. ❤

@@MicrosoftTechy Can't we use a custom topic instead of a conversational boosting topic ?. When I try with custom topics I can trigger the topic and get the HTTP response correctly but It doesn't give generative answers from the response.

Hi, yes, we can. Create a custom topic, there add the create generative answer node and disable your other unwanted out of the box topics if needed, that will ensure your custom topic will always be triggered. You can create your custom topic with the description than the empty template which will you add required trigger and other needed action automatically. Thank you!

@@MicrosoftTechy my custom topic always trigger and im getting the parsed get request values but my generative answer is not working. Even for a small query that couldnt recognize it from the rest output.

Hi, you can try unchecking the AI generated answer checkbox from the Create Generative Answers node configuration. Thank you!

The process is same, atleast as of today. You will get an notification and you will see expiry notification in your Copilot Studio. From any of the places, you can extend it after 30 days trial expiry.

Watch this video till the end, you will see I am not being asked to login from Teams channel, though I see the login screen, it won't force you to sign in, you can ignore that button, and you continue to chat as you are already authenticated through the SSO configuration. @@MicrosoftTechy Hi, Video is very informative and helpful. I am also facing the same issue on Teams. Bot prompts user to sign in but on typing Hi, Hello it comes back with error "I am sorry something went wrong. Please try again after some time or contact your Service Desk for further assistance". Bot authentication is working fine on Canvas. We have see this behavior since couple of weeks, bots configured earlier than that are working fine. Please suggest.
