I'm not good about plc, permit me ask question, on processor has 1 ethernet port, can we conect that port to switch?, why we need more ethernet card on slot 1?. Thanks
0:40 , What do you do if your soft keys do not have any functions on this screen? Please help!

Hello, awesome video, one more question: can you turn the output on/off without turning the whole instrument off ?
I believe the only way to do that would be to set the voltage to zero. Not sure it will go all the way to zero, but will go very small.
Fearsome looking Jeep. Thank you for your service.
I think your description of why it wants to move in an arc compared to a human hand… that’s not the best description. If you can’t move your arm in a straight line that please see a doctor. It takes the path that has distributed the rotations amongst all six axis…
Thank you for the comment. Your explaination is certainly the technical explaination. I use the analogy to help students remember the difference between the two motion types.
AB plc Analog input thank you
Once you have copied from one program. Go to the destination program and select copy again under EDCMD. This will enable the paste function in the destination program. That was the part I was missing.
Thank you, nice explanation. However, when you select paste, there are several choices to choose from. The results of the paste depended on the choice of paste you used.
Your video had nothing to do with copy and paste between programs. You may have uploaded the wrong video.
Thank you, I retitled the video to match the content. I will upload a video showing copy and paste to new program at a later date.
Thank you so much, very informative
Great lesson. I'm curious regarding the lab you have loaded into Blackboard. Was that curriculum available directly from Fanuc or did you have to scan a book and make it yourself?
Thank you. I created the lab myself based on my limited knowledge of the Roboguide software.
Would be nice to see the rest of this video. Any way you could email it to me?
I do not currently have the rest of the video. However, to use the Inspection/Error Proofing process in a program, you add the two instructions under version as shown below: R[1:Pass/Fail]=1 ; LBL[1:main loop] ; VISION RUN_FIND 'WRWASHER' ; VISION GET_PASSFAIL '...' R[Pass/Fail] ; IF R[1:Pass/Fail]=1,JMP LBL[2] ; #If passes jump !shake arm left and right for fail] ; L P[1] 250mm/sec FINE ; L P[2:left] 250mm/sec FINE ; L P[3:right] 250mm/sec FINE ; L P[1] 250mm/sec FINE ; JMP LBL[99] ; LBL[2:Found the item, PASS] ; L P[1] 250mm/sec FINE ; L P[4:up] 250mm/sec FINE ; L P[5:down] 250mm/sec FINE ; L P[1] 250mm/sec FINE ; LBL[99] ; ! do clean up work here, then return JMP LBL[3] ;
hello sir, where can i learn more about robot vision
Good job!One of the best videos explaining scaling
Thank you.
@@HartmannAutomation I noticed the formula frequently used in the PLC code is Y=[(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)]*(X-x1)+y1 or Y= m*(X-x1)+y1 ---x's are inputs and y's are outputs, X: pot live reading, m-slope (tangent of the angle). Don't know why this version is preferred vs the version you're explaining Y=[(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)]*X+b. If you calculate b as b=y1-mx1 or b=y2-mx2, and plug y1,or y2 in the first formula you'll get the second version Y=mX-mx1+b+mx1 or Y= mX+b
thank you for the detailed lecture on vision systems.
Your welcome, thanks for watching.
Thanks good lecture
Your welcome.
It seems like you are doing this for the first time. I just started using this software in simulator mode and it's really janky... almost unusable.
That is true, when I made this video, I was very new to this software. This was right after the shutdown due to the pandemic and we needed something students could easily install and use to continue their course work on ladder logic. For a free piece of software, it was simple to download and install and I find it fairly intuitive and easy to use. It certainly filled the need during the pandemic. I have not yet worked with one of the actual PLCs, but I am certainly willing to get one and see how well it functions. Thank you for checking the video out.
Thanks you for lection! Please can tall about coord function? I don't heard about it in lection.
Thank you for watching. I discuss the Coord button in videos about Jogging about Frames. Here is the link to one of the jogging videos. Coord is discussed at 3:38. th-cam.com/video/7VeAwpd7Jjs/w-d-xo.html
Very clear. You explain in a calm and understanding tone that helps me to retain what you are teaching. I look forward to watching more instruction from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Your Welcome.
good luck bro
So insightful and rich content
Glad it was helpful, thanks for commenting.
Could I get this document?
nice one
Thank you.
Thanks for the video! I'm a new electrician apprentice in a factory setting and I learned a few things watching this video on my breaks
Your welcome! Glad it helped.
Thank you for this great video. Really like the teaching skills!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very useful. Thanks for sharing.
Your welcome. Thanks for watching.
So insightful and rich .
Glad it was helpful!
Some segments in the video are stamped not adjacent to each other
I sometimes cut out long pauses, etc out of the video to make it flow a little bit better. I assume this is what you are referring to.
Very good

Thank you so Much Sir !
thank you! very helpful
Thanks for such an interesting video
Hallo sir. Can i have your email ? I want to talk about business with you . Thanks!
???
This video is great. The volume is low. But good information is worth finding a quiet place to watch and take some notes.
Thank you.
Thanks

Where do you teach at? I am in Fanuc 1of2 operator class right now. It's insane how their isn't any clear literatrue about how to operate these robots. All we got is these crumby Adobe presentations and some even crumbier ppts
