@MrJohnrowan great place to visit you must get there at some point 🙂🙂
Great canal walk with a lovely pub on the path. Fun to watch and absorb the beautiful scenery and bits of trail humor. Thank you.
HI Jeanne thank you for you kind words and viewing commenting,we do like a good walk along a canal and if we come across a pub even better 😀
It’s spelled “Loch Lomond”. You’re welcome.
omg my bad haha
Have just had 2 nights at broomfield holiday park. Wonderful position, fantastic town. Campsite however was let down by outdated and dirty toilets and showers. Facilities really matter to us, broomfield feel well short on that score unfortunately. Ullapool itself is highly recommended in a stunning location.
@jamesroberts4433 Hiya sorry the facilities have let you down. We don't really use them as we use ours in the motorhome but understand it can spoil a site. Glad you still enjoyed Ullapool. Its a great gateway to the outer hebrides.
Hi rowan I have just came across your video of your stay in Ullapool have read some comments on your speeding going by your video I didn’t notice any speeding I know it’s going from 60 mph down to 40 and 30 just after the bend coming into the village and then down to 20 since the new road opened I can’t imagine how you can get any speed up coming down into the village anyhow I hope you enjoyed your boat trip to Stornaway I have been back to broomfield 5 times since may and now it’s coming to the end of the camping season roll on next year I hope your both keeping well all the very best 😊👍
@colinmclachlan4597 Hiya Colin thank you so much for that I have checked and corrected and carnt see anytime I was speeding thank you so much for commenting and viewing I hope you have subscribed 🙂🙃 ww are hoping to get back up next year we are in cheddar at the min but if you see us please come say hello thank you for you kind comments have fun stay safe and enjoy 🙂🙂🙂🙂

@luciocancellara4995 Yes may be but m sure just past the Sainsburys you can get a bus takes you into the centre of Harragate...🙂🙂
Hi guys How close to Harrogate and is there a bus stop close by ?
@luciocancellara4995 Hiya there is bus stops on the main Rd past sainsburys if the weather is nice it's a lovely walk into Harrogate but most is on the side of a busy rd we carnt remember exactly but Gail thinks it took about 30 to 40 mins stroll to Harrogate Thank you for viewing and commenting it helps the channel out greatly have a great time if you Visit Harrogate 😀 🙂🙂🙂
Can I ask if they are open in March
@TrevorBewick-jq6zp HI Trevor no we have just checked it looks like they are open middle of April till the end of September .Let us know if you find somewhere around that time up there
The swing bridge - the boater puts a key in and press the button and it flashes the warning lights for the vehicles ( like a railway crossing) and then lowers the barriers. You manually push the bridge open then . Most swing bridges on that canal are manual as they’re farm bridges. Some are electronic barrier with manual swing operation and some are fully electronic, barrier and swing! And some break down and you have to wait for the CRT to come and reset them with all the cars waiting 🤪😂😂
@leer798 Brilliant Leer thank you for that I know someone would let me know great watching them working the bridges ect looks a lovely calm way of life until the briges break down 😂😂 thank you for viewing and commenting it helps out little channel so much Thank you 😊
Thanks! This happened to me. Off to Amazon I go :)
Hi Mike yes common i think they are quite cheap to buy but tight to get on try a little washing up liquid in there to help get it to slide on the splines
@@rowanstravels8038 good tip that. I'll let you know how it goes !

HI STEVIE i think it was just worn out i always drain thoroughly in winter but we do tend to use the van all year round so that was a possibility
Does music play in the background when you visit Eas Fors.
@kevinkevin-ug9po it's amazing got it own speakers all set up and everything 😁
Is that Billy's house along the coast on the cliff ❤
🙂🙂
❤
Be extremely careful on that Loch Eck main road . There have been many accidents . It's not meant as a walking place !! However ,it's a stunning area . Ardentinny is beautiful too and has a bit of a sany beach .
Yes its a very fast road must be carefull best to use the paths in the trees
Is that a Geordie accent ?
Hi Wandering free not Geordie just down the road a little 🙂
Lovely
@karlhardman8484 Thank you Karl 🙂
Noticed you were speeding. The reason I mentioned it is after spending a good days fishing in lock broom with a great local guy who has a boat there he told me that since the NC500 became a thing they were experiencing many more Road traffic accidents but it was the locals that were tending to get hit as people travelling there were going too fast. He has a young family.
speeding at what point on the video i will have to sort my self out 🙂
@anthonyharris7780 when you get a chance can you check the video and tell me the time on it where I am speeding as u have checked over and over and I carnt see anywhere I was speeding thanks
bloody lovely. so good for you aswell
Yep and very tasty🙂🙂🙂
Cant believe u put those sound affects when i sat on the toilet. I dont sound like that 🤣🤣🤣

That was my town many years ago. I worked for Clemie & Co. as an apprentice brickie before I took off to make my fortune in the wide, wide world. I was involved in building modifications to Kirkcudbright Creamery, Castle Douglas slaughterhouse, and Dalbeattie Railway station. Not one of the buildings is standing now. I wonder what they're trying to tell me😅 I got as far as Glasgow in my travels but travel through the town incognito with my family now and again. Lovely wee video good people. Many thanks
@HestanIslandLad Hi mate very interesting it's a shame all those buildings have gone now.we often pass through Glasgow on our way to the Highlands and Islands we do love Scotland.Thank you so much for viewing and commenting it really does help the channel out I hope you find some of the other videos are worth a view 🙂🙂🙂

Used to live in Kirkcudbright back in the 80s, it’s an amazing place! Very happy childhood. Spent some time camping at Silver Craig’s last summer, it’s a great wee site and handy for the shops and pubs. I am back up there this weekend, so hoping the rumours of a heat wave are accurate 😂
I hope it is a heat wave for you that would be brilliant.yes it's a cracking place we had a great time lots to see and lots of history great shops pubs and food we loved it.Thank you for viewing and commenting we really do appreciate it 🙂🙂🙂
