The scale of death, when expressed in such large numbers, becomes abstract-too immens...

Levinas: 'I am only free in the face of the Other' Years ago I attended a lecture about the philosopher Levinas. This made a great impression, especially the point in which you recognize yourself in the face of the other person. That made me write this song; in this time of violence and hatred.

NB: did some finetuning on the vocals, in the instrumental part and less repeat in the chorus lines. Update: more clearance in de vocals (mono/ center), and lots of panning on the backing and the ohs and ahs. More panning and less base in te drums.

The Dance is an unknown gem of Uriah Heep. Written by Jack Williams, but never really got the attention it deserved. I re-recorded this song with PreSonus and gave it a little different spin. Enjoy!

As a Hammond player I love the music of Deep Purple and Rainbow. Jon and Don are my heroes! When I play that music I feel at my best. So it's also a nice place to go if you work during the day at a company populated by incompetent money-grabbers. Fortunately, I have now left that company and have found the energy again to translate those frustrations into music. Enjoy!
