Miracle Motor Speedway and Homestead
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 19 มี.ค. 2023
We are making a family friendly environment for dirt kart racing. Using a homestead to cut cost so that we can introduce racers to our savior Jesus Christ. Our plan is to make safe and cost effective racing.
We got sheep!
We got sheep too bad they aren't ours! but it's fun having livestock on the property! We put up the last cabinet above the refrigerator. We got the microwave mounted, cut the hole in the sink cabinet for the pug ins and air vent in the kick plate. We even got the light put up in the panty and laundry room! Hopefully we will get the Onx and counter tops soon.

Mounting upper cabinets
มุมมอง 24421 วันที่ผ่านมา
I don't know if I mounted this right but I think so. it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. the well house insulation seems to be working well right now and it will be put to the test in January I am sure.
See how far we have come

มุมมอง 1023 หลายเดือนก่อน
We finished up the painting! Thank goodness! We installed the flooring in the master bathroom. It turned out better than expected. Next we finish the furnace and get things finished up in the crawl space so that we can clean up and put a plastic vapor barrier down so that the walls can get spray foamed!
NO more painting please
มุมมอง 703 หลายเดือนก่อน
More painting this weekend! As soon as we get the painting done we can start on the flooring then on to some fun stuff like converting the master bath vanity!
finish installing the tankless water heater & primered interior
มุมมอง 934 หลายเดือนก่อน
5 days at the homestead resulted in walls and ceiling primered! The tankless water heater is up and working GREAT! Then we spent time around the fire pit. Hoping to get some good, exciting news this week that we can't talk about, yet!

Shane your doing a good job
Wish we were closer we could help you guys
Thanks but couldn't have been able to do it without your sister! And a long list of other people, your husband is definitely on that list.
I have to wonder why you didn't just have that built on site. It's just a shell. It's not like it came ready to move in. Trucking it to your place and setting the two half shells up and the labor it couldn't have been cheap. Don't see how you could have saved any money doing it this way, but I guess you had your reasons.
We got bids to have it constructed on the property and it was 10-20,000 cheaper depending on the builder. We were shocked ourselves.
live and learn.... This could be good for those who want to buy this and want to know what to expect in putting it together... the audio is super low while your talking so the natural response for a viewer is to turn up their volume. Then you come in with your music which is super loud.... which a viewer wouldn't like. Maybe you could try a time lapse video where you do commentary about what you're doing in the video... that way, it is quick, concise, and you can talk about any of the items you maybe later discovered AFTER the process was done (like, oh, here I put that here, but in hind sight, I would have did this or that instead and it would have shaved 20 seconds off my pour...." etc... Hopefully you didn't quit making videos but good luck!
@billsmith9249 thank you for your constructive criticism. I have actually thought about that but didn't go through with it. I am a worker that doesn't like talking much will I work. We will try voice over on our next video!
@@MiracleMotorSpeedwayHomestead on the flip side, I did just buy this model today from harbor freight along with their $699 plate compactor... about killed myself unloading the compactor by myself but hey, work has to get done! lol I can't wait to get started using it! lol
Good job Most aren’t willing to work
@jorge1106able thanks for the comments
Thanks for the video and your time Very helpful
@jorge1106able thanks for the comment some of our other videos might interest you
Why do you bother?
@@williamcmaylo6597 ok, thanks for the comment?
That intro was fantastic. We are embarking on a similar journey with our place. Around the same age as you guys. We love how well you work together. Looking forward to catching up on your videos. Thanks for the laughs and may God bless you.
@OldCootCamping thanks for the compliment, we don't get a lot comments. Just got back in town from God's Place which is what we call the property because he gave it to us. The videos right now are more about informing friends and family and learning how to make videos. We have some plans to use it for Miracle Motor Speedway which should be more entertaining.
Again with the toilet 😂😂😂😂🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@amandabarlow5304 yep it's important! Lol!
What was your ratio of water per bag?
@marklu15 it's been a while but I used 3 of those buckets of water per 2 bags. If it was too thick I added a little more. That was my first ever pour so I am not an expert by anymeans
@@MiracleMotorSpeedwayHomestead thank you, great results !
Lol get after it have fun u 2
He did a great job and everything was fixed.
I want too my ac/heat u nder also
Ya the stooll still works ... Nice work man !
Haven’t seen him this excited about flushing the toilet since he was two.😂🤣😇
@travisdawe565 now that's funny because I haven't been that exciting about flushing since I was 2!🤣🤣
Haaaaaa!
Kinda sad that there wasn’t one more toilet flush in this video…😢
Thanks for making this video
@blondeguy08 thanks for the comment
There is a part 2
Doesn't look stable at first glance.
Watch some more videos there has been a lot more done since this video
why didn't you regulate that with more water? This isn't a review of the mixer, it's a review of your work.
Itt's not really a review, I just used the machine, don't know of a better way to review the machine anyway. I haven't ever poured concrete before
Looks amazing already so excited to see it in person soon! And I can’t wait to see the finished home when it’s all painted and decorated ❤❤
You’ve got a good helper. 😂😂😂
I know, right!!! Blessed to have my Grace!
Looks like hard work but proud of you for sticking with it .
Could you have put the camera any further back? Looks like mine came with no hardware
Sorry if you couldn't tell we are new to this TH-cam stuff. It's harder to do than we thought but still easier to letting friends and family follow our homestead build and later our racing dirt kart track.
By the way it's going to be more difficult to put it together without hardware than it was to do this video, just sayin'! Lol!😉
@@MiracleMotorSpeedwayHomestead sorry, I was just upset that the one I got came with no hardware. Had to go back. Great starter video. It was fine...
Yeah, its a large yard, they could have put it much further back.
Lol keep on mowing ;) ;)
Hasenpfeffer
A little pulp faction.
?
How thick did u go on that ?
I don't know exactly 12 to 18" I would say. We hired that out, so I don't know for sure.
ooo man i know how many bags it takes to make a yard ;)
Where are you guys located city state looks like a nice area
Thanks for the comment, we.are just outside of Wheatland, Missouri
It’s looking good, thanks for sharing. I’m going to buy one of these and give it a try on a small grill pad at my son’s before doing a large gazebo pad at my place. I’ve never done concrete but that looked a little bit wet. But what do I know, I’ve never done concrete before! Appreciate ya!
Thanks for the comment, we did two more sections after this and they didn't turn out as good, I think they were too dry. We are building a homestead and we are tackling more things that we haven't ever done before, you might find our other videos interesting.
❤❤
