Love the name. 'Stu-Art Graphic Design & Illustration' was the fictional name that I used for a commercial branding assignment at The Art Institute back in '85-'86. (Also my given name.) Great video - very informative.
Mats should not be touched with bare hands

Thank you so much for your video! I'm having my first exhibition on our local TV channel. I want to use this technique/mat and photos. Do you recommend hanging the photos on the wall using the mat and plastic clear-as-glass bag? Thanks for any comments.

Please answer my question. Situation: Today I had a angry costumer. Who insisted that you could put a mat on a stretched canvas, Pastel painting. I am a professional apprentice framer. One years experience this Sept, 2022. I was taught that you cannot put a mat on a stretched canvas paintings. But I could be wrong. So I want to ask here. Is there a way to mount stretched canvas painting on a mat?

I have a 10x14 poster coming that's limited in number to 99 that I want to protect with a frame and a mat. What size mat should I have to cover the 10x14 should it be exact or should it be a little smaller than the 10x14?

Where are the gloves?
Generally for cheap mass produced pieces, gloves are optional.
Can the tape be easily removed without damaging the print?
Use gaffer's or masking tape and you shouldn't have any problems
helpful, but poor design
