The time blindness is real!! Favorite gift would be a cool pinball looking thing called Jezzball that I adored! And in addition to Christmas Vacation, I would add Home Alone 2!

Time blindness love it!
Glad it was helpful for you! ❤
❤❤❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed this episode!
Great episode! I’m definitely a “name it to tame it” kinda girl. We gift to a lot of different people, so my holiday season gifting secret tool is a spreadsheet on my phone that I’ve used for years with who I’m buying for, the budget, highlight it yellow when I’m done buying and highlight it green when it’s wrapped!
Love that gift spreadsheet idea! 🎁
Genius! 🎁🎁🎁
A spreadsheet! That's an awesome idea! I'm glad you found something that WORKS for you!
The Mindful strategies for a joyous season is definitely my takeaway! I appreciate content like this!!!
Agreed!❤
Indeed a joyous season! 🎄
So glad you enjoyed this!
My wife and I do not live close to family, so we really focus on spending quality time with family during the holidays. However, this means gift giving has not been our priority for the past few years (when talking about our love language). I agree with what you said about the importance of opening up a dialogue with friends and family, so they understand how you're feeling, and nobody feels left out because they didn't receive a gift, a card, a holiday package, etc. Favorite Holiday Movies: It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart and White Christmas with the always hilarious Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen. Also, this year despite my wife's objections I have tried to get my son to watch the Muppet Christmas Carol with Michael Cain
Muppets are a Christmas classic!
So glad you get quality family time during the holidays! 🎄
White christmas is such a great classic! Also so glad you are focusing on family during these holidays!
Definitely feeling the holiday hustle! I remember getting a Disney snowglobe and then going to Disney World that year!!
That must have been very special! ❤
Yes! Do you still have the snow globe?! ☃️
How incredible! What a special surprise!
My favorite christmas gift was a signed basketball from Shaq from my granddad MANY years ago!
How special!!! 🏀
What a cool gift! Do you still have it?
What an awesome gift!
Haven’t listened to the whole episode yet, but… I definitely have struggles, I LOVE the season, and I’m the MOST EXTRA with decorating, clothing, gifts etc. But then I reach a limit where it’s all of a sudden too much, then everything seems too much but it can’t be turned off. Christmas Day with all those gifts and sensory overloads can be wild, linked with the RSD of worrying no one will like the 100+ gifts I purchased, makes for over drinking and exacerbation of all other adhd symptoms.
I hear you on that. The love for the season and the overdoing it. I LOVE doing holiday events. We go and have a great time! Then I am completely exhausted and don’t even want to finish the rest of the fun weekend events. Then I take all week to recover. Then I do it all again the next weekend. 🫣
MOST EXTRA! 😂 🎄🎄🎁🎁🥰
This is all very relateable! Thank you for sharing this!
I looked up how to stop feeling overstimulated this didn’t help
why is there an advert directly in the middle of this meditation - how awful to be jerked out of it by a stupid advert.
My favorite Christmas gift ever was my American Girl doll that I received in 3rd grade ❤
Great gift!
😂😂😂 uh huh! Good job getting it done!✅
Nice!
Go go go!!! 🏎️
QTIP 😂 That’s perfect!
I dont know if i have adhd but instead of always running late im always on time since i have a bit of a panick attack if im late
Every time😭
Yeah i've adhd
Nah people chewing loud ir clicking pens
This is me man and I'm depressed because I don't do anything
Thanks Ryan! Hi everyone, I was diagnosed in 2000 (ADD) - I've only recently been able to deal with this (and other mental health things, c-PTSD, 2022, severe depression 1995). I'm so glad I found this channel. I'm getting better as I've started looking after myself - I only wish I started 30 years ago! God bless you guys and start genuinely caring for your life and wellbeing right now.
It’s difficult when what you need is in conflict with what you think society expects of you. I need support, but I’m expected to be tough. I need to show emotions, but I’m expected to be stoic. Thank you for shining more light on this issue!
Love that! ❤
❤
Thank you, Coach Ryan, for another inspiring episode!
Absolutely! 💯
Yes❤
I come from a family that told me "boys don't cry" and that really affected me on the long run... I always felt disconnected from myself because "men can't show emotions" That changed the day I decided to take off the mask and be my authentic self. Which also helps you sorround yourself with people that love you for who you are!!! This is a great message coach. Congratulations on this episode.
Well said!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for sharing ❤
As someone who was out of touch with my own emotions until recently, it is liberating once you learn to connect with yourself. Thank you.
Amen! ❤
Yes
“Emotions are a universal human experience.” THIS!!! Society’s messages have never made sense to me because we’re all human, of course we all will feel and struggle, no matter who you are! Every person deserves compassion and support. Thanks for sharing, Ryan!
Absolutely!💯
❤❤❤
Great stuff!
Absolutely!💯
It’s okay, Not to be Okay ❤️
Yes indeed❤
I hear you!❤
All of those messages that come from all sexes of adults in our lives combine and become this monster that creates a situation where anxiety, depression, OCD, ODD, (insert ADHD comorbidity) can thrive. It’s a dark place.
For sure
What’s interesting is that unless it’s brought to my attention, struggling while trying to look like strong on the outside is my go to. I find myself doing and saying things I don’t feel or believe because…well truthfully, I just don’t want to have to deal with explaining everything. Having community can be so freeing, as long as you feel like you truly belong with them, and are accepted for your foibles, not in spite of them. It is only then, when my friends know me so well, that I feel I can discuss my struggles with them without judgment, and having to explain every different perspective due to people pleasing behavior.
Deep ❤
Society makes it hard to be vulnerable. It’s ok to share how you feel- even if it’s in private.
Yes ❤
Amazing episode! It is necessary to let people know that it is okay to feel bad. Helping yourself is not weakness, it is empowerment.
💯
❤❤❤
What a great topic!
💯
Yes
It’s OK to not be OK. That’s how we start the process to get better ❤️🩹
❤❤❤
Love this epsiode! So happy to see someone touching on men's mental health!
Yes❤
This is such a needed topic, I have shared this with my son
Absolutely! ❤
💯
