You should sacrificed your queen missed mate in two
The game ended quite nicely. Since you were dominant, I wouldn't have traded queens at 18:00 and would have moved it somewhere on the 2nd rank (d2 or b2) to maintain the pressure. And then following up with Rc8 to threaten Rc1 would be gg. At 4:10, your opponent missed Qa7. Your winning position would have become even again if your opponent spotted it. Now, let's pretend that it's not a blunder and your opponent can't win the knight. The question is where does your knight go? Developing your queen to d7 blocks the knight and bishop, and the pawn on b5 is annoying. On top of all that, the queen on d7 has nowhere to go. It basically gave your opponent a free move. You want to get your minor pieces developed asap in the Dutch.

Love this channel
Means a lot to me 👏
Good man
Thank you 👏
2:14 Kf1 instead of Kg1 holds the draw 4:36 again, Kc1 is losing, Kd1 is the move because if Kc3 then Kc1 is a draw 5:50 *** This example is where you did it correctly. Instead of opposing the king on the 1st rank with c1 or e1, you backed up a square staying on the same file as the pawn. Remember this 6:07 King opposition, Ke2 is the only move 6:29 Ke1 allowed Ke3, Kd2 was the only continuation 6:57 Kf1 instead of Kg1, opposing the king is not the key in those situations 9:28 Only move Kg1. Kf1 or Kh1 allows black's king to get the opposition. With Kg1, you're waiting for where black's king is going, and only then you do opposition
I'll look this over tonight!

Like a GM once said, if you have mate in 1, look for better 😂
@@ven88 mate in 0 💀
Episode 50!!!
Yessir this is the content that I wanna watch
hi, im a really bad player and dont know what your elo is, so if your solution is better and i am doing a worse option then sorry. If thats not the case then i have a trick for queen vs king: Position your queen as if she were a knight checking. If the king goes left, you go 1 left, if he goes down, you go 1 down. if he goes diagonal, you go 1 diagonal. just like magic he will push into a corner without you having to think at all. make sure you leave him 2 spaces in the corner to avoit stalemate. move your king to that side to then do checkmate
All good, I know for sure there were better mating moves, but this was more focused on the king pawn and understanding opposition.
Nice

Great game bro. I’m in a tilt/stagnant phase myself so I was rooting for you there. Nice win and very entertaining video lol. I think you managed to open that other eye
Maybe an episode to train some endgame checkmates too such as bishop + knight
@@ven88 I’m going to hit all of the endgame concepts
@@JimmyChessinnice
I’m glad you are learning common endgames, I recommend you queen endgames since they can be tricky sometimes, then go into more obvious on how to capitalize, like rook endgames, then go into more technical stuff like same-color bishop or bishop vs knight etc (this is just advice you do you ofc)
@@androidxpro5471 I’m going further with this series
Damn nice find! It’s good to see that you have good tactical vision!
Great training series bro. You definitely got me thinking about polishing my own end game. Keep up the good work!

Nice central control. At the end, taking c3 was possible. Do you see the follow-up if opponent played Rxb6?
My next move was bxe4
@JimmyChessin Bd4 skewering the king and rook on b6

How did you turn this into a short? The original vid was 16:9 right?
Btw you've inspired me. I'm promoting to a knight first chance I get lol
Painful watching most of the opponent's moves be with the queen. Least they got punished
Thought the same thing, can't play chess like that
Face was a bit too close to the screen but it was a good video nonetheless ♟
Lol
What move did he see at the end? I saw check but nothing too fatal
@@abshirb1 I have no idea the engine sad to take with the pawn with the queen
@@JimmyChessin Okay. Glad I'm not the only one confused.
As a 1500 elo i used to play the classical dutch against d4 It's either i win with a brilliant attack or gets steam rolled on the middlegame I use b6 system now Much better and safer
Agreed when I win it’s always the same way 2 pieces around my king and a counter attack 😅
@@JimmyChessin yeah
I’m at 1091 and anytime I get a brilliant move, I screenshot it lol. It’s a unicorn for me!
It’s a truly remarkable site to see that !!
