No one is talking about Tubi for black film makers and I can self distribution and get a 80/20 cut and do my own marking on TH-cam and ig and fb! Plenty of unknown writers have been produced through screenplay contests like Page Awards, etc. Snow White and the Huntsmen was by an unknown and he went on to have a fantastic writing career. So I do not believe you cannot break in.

Let's not pretend that Hollywood makes epic entertainment! They may make big budget entertainment. . .but they sold their creative soul for profit years ago. It's far and few to find incredible entertainment in new Hollywood! So, I have a lot of faith in all of the passionate Indie creators that want to give the audience entertainment that evokes, shocks, entertains & is down-right very passionate about the work as a whole and not just getting a bunch of money just to show how important we are!

AI is the greatest solution for moodboards - Game changing

Interesting talk. I am not an AI expert, but an Engineer who has taken some AI courses. Listening to your arguments, I think the gap in your understanding is about difference between a) what is a Rule based Software, and b) What is AI based Software model. I think, you need to know at least this to explore the implications of copyrights. So please explore further. But, an example from my side : Say you want the computer to identify any picture of any Cat provided by you . There are two ways to do this 1. Rule based (Simple automation) - Somehow find out features of a Cat in mathematical terms of say dimensions of face etc. and convert it into a program , which basically checks certain EXPLICIT conditions written as code by the programmer (this is incredibly hard) 2. Deep learning Models (AI) - Now these are general purpose mathematical functions that has nothing to do with an image of a Cat. But if you feed in a million different images of Cats , the Model "Decodes" the common patterns of these images and so IMPLICITLY understands what a Cat looks like ( This is called Model Training) . So, if you give it a new picture of a Cat that was not shown before, it will identify correctly without going back to check those million images. Note : It means the Trained model will not have access to those Cat million images after training, but will have the underlying pattern of those million images in a concise mathematical form. (This is 'similar' to how GooglePhotos automatically picks up all photos containing your face and puts it in an album) Now, Generative AI is a step further, and Chat GPT has to do with LLM technology which is different from the example above, but hope you get the idea.
