First, you have to check ki ap universities ko kb apply kr skte ho and apko offer letter kis intake ka kb milega. Yes. For ST scholarship, the preference is as follows: 1) students who have already taken admission in foreign universities or commenced studies in foreign universities. 2) students who have received the offer letter but have not started the university yet. 3) students who plan to pursue foreign education abroad but have not received the offer letter yet. Although, all of these students are eligible to apply, most seats are taken by first category and most of remaining few are taken by second category and very rarely a handful people get selected from third category. It is unfortunately not a great preference sequence, cause to get the scholarship for sure, you need to secure the admission in foreign university which is hard without strong financial background. This, in a way, dilutes the aim of helping students from weak financial background. But unfortunately, this is how it is.

OBC students have another scholarship scheme meant only for them. This one is specifically for SC students.

The amount we need to show in bank accounts varies country wise. First of all, check how much amount your country-university guidelines asks to show. That amount is generally about living expenses as tuition fees are completely covered by the scholarship no matter the amount. So, now you have the amount needed to show and the amount scholarship provides you for living expense. Whatever amount is beyond living allowance, that amount you need to show in your bank accounts. Let's take a simple example. Suppose, your country/university asks to show total of Rs. 50. And scholarship gives you living allowance of Rs. 40. Then you need to show that additional Rs. 10 on your own. Hope this helps.

Yes, you can apply. In fact, if you have already joined your university, according to scholarship guidelines, you will be given preference over other applicants. But remember, you will not be reimbursed for the expenses occurred to you previously, before scholarship. You will only be given funds for further expenses.

Usually the results are announced in May every year. Expected dates are 15-31st May, 2024. In 2023, the result was announced on 26th May. So we'll have to wait till the month end.

You need to check on University website which documents are required. Create a list of those documents. Then produce all the documents and then you can apply online on their website. You can also consult a counselor for doing this process.

you should apply to uni first if they are given you conditional offer then submit all the conditional documents. and if they delay then you should call to uni or country representative of that uni.

From your question, I consider you have already applied to the University and are waiting for the offer letter to be issued. In that case, if you have a counselor, ask the counselor to contact the university and ask them to speed up your application process. In case you do not have a counselor, you can contact the university on mail, or a university representative, or directly over phone call as the last resort. Then probably you have to upload Marksheet and Provisional certificate in that section as it is mentioned in the guidelines this is the case only if CGPA and Percentage both are in your Marksheet

Most of the times, colleges issue this formula certificate. Discuss with your college staff, if you don't get it there, go to University.
