@AndersO1983 Checked online and realized that the correct translation is a MOOSE and it can weigh 500kg, and a large male can go too 800kg ! corrected the name of video now.. :-)

@ipip247 No, no, no.... It detects everything but you can see that it brake automatically but he was driving faster than 35 km/h. Of course, auto-brakes won't stop car in this situation but it would minimize damage. :)

@ipip247 it's working, the car is just going a bit to fast for the system.

The XC60's city safety system do not detect boxes, it detect vehicles only.

i don't see the point of a system that will only work when you are already driving incredibly slow, who cruises below 30km/h in a city anyway when you are not already paying attention to what is causing you to drive so slow.

@lde2100 It's designed for inattention or drivers who are just rubbish. They're out there and this'll still help. Also, if someone steps in front of your car, this will brake before you can react. I've seen someone get hit by a car and i think this'll help. :)

@ruflower Yes, correct. this is a bit above 30 km/h (20 miles/hour = 32.19 km/hour)

@o0Swayzak0o At 30KM/h it's supposed to be able to prevent hitting the boxes entirely. Instead it just slows the car down before it hits them.

@nordan101 yeap it start breaking to prevent or lower the damages from the crash when its 30+ km/h. Anyway i saw some system fails, i hope volvo engineers manage to repair and start new era of this innovation technology in transport vehicles.

@Vandwo below 30km/h it stops ok before wall, at higher speed it's just manage to start the breaking.

@o0Swayzak0o the feil is that the car should prevent this crash. It have automatic breaks when it calculate incoming crash (speed + distance)

The system will not work with just anything blocking the path of the vehicle. City Safety is designed to only activate the auto-brake feature, if the impending collision is with an obstacle that has a reflective surface. A license plate or tail light for example (the latter being present on every car in the world). If for example a moose jumps in front of the vehicle, the only way the system would apply the brakes, is if the moose was wearing a high-visibility jacket.

Of course you are right as usual.... I did a BIG misstake with this video.

att den vaaaaa! det var min första konser och den var så himmla mäktig!! är lite ledsen att dom inte spelade can't get enough(stavning?!) men den passade ju inte riktigt inte in med det andra...men det var underbart!

Det var en grymt mäktig konsert! Jag är så oerhört glad att min bror och jag gick tillsammans. Båda är stora fans och hela upplevelsen kommer vi minnas för alltid. It was a really awesome concert! I'm so incredibly happy that me and my brother went together. We're both huge fans and this whole experience we'll remember forever.
