I spent my whole life wanting to hear my dad say “good job” or “you did good son”. I lost my father on my 3rd deployment to Iraq and my wife and I named our youngest son Lane. I never got to hear those words from my dad and that was the only person that I ever wanted to “impress” or need approval from. He had no problem telling my sons his grandsons that he was proud of them but for some reason he couldn’t tell his only child those words. I went on to serve 4 more deployments to Afghanistan and the thought of losing my father never leaves my mind. The older generation had a coarse not so kind way to show appreciation and it wasn’t ever verbalized. We as men spend our lives seeking approval from 1 person and that’s our dad, he’s our hero, the person that we look up to and want to be like when we grow up. Lord knows I miss mine every day. From the roping, trail rides, cutting arenas and driving peterbilts and kenworths with.
Does anybody know the song name when the guitar starts playing I’m trying to learn in on guitar
This was one of Luke Perry’s greatest performances….. I cried so much I had a headache. It was truly a beautifully done movie.
That man , his legacy and this movie is what drove me to my rodeo career . . . I rode bulls for ten years and every time I went out there , I said the name Lane Frost .... my icon , my hero , my if I could be anyone else . RIP
I just saw this movie less than 5 minutes ago and already in tears. This happens to Lane Frost and Kobe R.I.P. the GOATs 😢❤
I am literally crying right now l know how it feels Kelly I lost my husband to 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Rebhorn was great in this
It was a true story
Had he stayed down he might have survived. But in that moment with adrenaline going you don't feel any pain and dont know if you move you can puncture arteries with broken bones.
good movie but don’t like how they added scenes for extra dramatic moments… part where he dies, Kelly wasn’t even there to see that happen. She was in Texas working on the movie My Hero’s have Always been Cowboys at that time.
That was longer than 8 seconds. Alot longer. Like 30 seconds
Irl thats not how lane died. Lane flipped off the bull in the air and the bull stabbed lane wit its horns. Causing internal bleeding and lane suffered to the pain and died at the hospital jus a couple mins later 😢
Not my time yet.
this movie will never not make me cry 😭
😮😮😮😮 he should havell left to be with the gurl😮
This is the only movie I’ve cried in, especially since my dad and I were at Cheyenne Frontier days that day and saw him die
My Late Cousin Lane Frost R.I.P Bull Rider
Hollywood adds the drama. That bull didn’t do that, lane didn’t have a chance to look up behind him to see the bull coming.
Rip Lane 😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😥😥😰😰😨😭😭
I feel bad for Kelly and it was so sad rip best bull rider
The dad trying to remember if he told Lane he loves him hits hard😔 R.I.P Lane Frost
lane frost was stephen curry at bull riding. gotta put respect on lane frosts head
I cry everytime 😢😢
This was my mom's favorite movie, She almost named me lane, but I got named Robert instead after my grandpa's brother who died in Nam
i don´t know why but hearing kellie call out lane s name in this scene makes my allergies tear up
RIP Luke Perry Say hello to the real Lane Frost for us
I still can't believe how much luke perry looks like lane
😢😔☹️☹️
😮😮😮❤
Alguém sabe onde encontro o filme completo, oito segundos???
0:08 that smile 😍
Movie is so stupid an not accurate at all. The damn bull didn’t gore him. He broke his ribs on the fall. And when he got up and fell again the broke rib puncture his organs . Thats killed him.
I wish they showed the true relationship between lane and his father. The Hollywood bullshit made lanes dad look like an old prick. We all know rodeo days can be hard on their kids but they love them and support them through their rodeo careers with their time money and knowledge starting at probably 7 years old. A bad dad wouldn’t give their kid that much attention.
I have seen this movie a million times and this scene gets to me, and Luke Perry you truly will be missed and of course Lane Frost as well 💔♥️
I saw this movie in my youth. And I am crying all the time, when I see this Scene. This real Story is so heartbreaking.
I don't see anyone else besides Luke playing Lane. He was born to play that role, he was the right choice
My bf is a bull rider so this always scares me
I just watched this movie and I literally cried so much 😭😭😭😭😭
red rock is very mean bull in the world it kill lane flake is dead from a bull red rock
Ohmigosh ‼️ I watched this on vhs, and watching again is still heartbreaking. But having seen the last decade & the protections developed -- it seems _____ to look back to before protection. (I can't even think of a word for it)
My now, ex-wife, Jo Anna told me about Lane Frost. She told me about the movie. I watched it with her, but I was so young, that I didn't really pay attention to it. I was more interested in "her" at the time.........................Well, things happened, I'm not 40 years old. . . . I actually watched the entire movie by myself tonight................I cried! And now, Jo Anna, I'd love for you and me to travel down to HUGO, Oklahoma and view his graveside together. I know you have someone, and I'm 100% fine with that. YES, please bring Dillon (your boyfriend) and Emma (our daughter) along. . . Honestly, that would be awesome!
I remember watching this movie so many times when I was growing up and the ending still hurts.
I think the movies was as usual too much Hollywood crap they never cheated and the boys were not like they portrayed Luke perry and Steven Baldwin did a good job I cried and still do so young gone too soon. I wish they would do a true movie of their lives
this is the only movie i have ever cried in
Lane was a good person the only reason he died was because the bull pierced threw a main artery and caused him to bleed out in seconds
Mess with the bull, get the horns. Rip lane frost
This was tough to watch. Lane Frost was, and still is a legend.
Been watching this movie all my life, this scene always hits.
Watching this is so hard. Not only did Lane lose his life but Luke is gone too.
That's why I tell my son every day that I love him
