While not sounding robotic, dont try to get too chatty with VOs. => Good advice They are diplomats. They arent swayed by our poor attempts at making an impression using ill placed or incorrectly worded idioms. "Hey" is a poor choice of a word to begin a response or greet. Hi or hello, or just good morning/afternoon is fine. US is more direct and precise communication. The VOs are under a huge backlog and feel least inrerested to chat, even though the interviews are interaction based only. I had my visa approved on 2 Apr 2024.
