Ferry Taylor's channel
France
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ม.ค. 2014
D.R.D., known to his brothers in arms as "Ferry Taylor," has always been a curious person. As a young man, he joined the ARMY as an airborne artillery gunner and later became a combat diver. But as time went on, he craved for something more of a challenge.
Ferry was drawn to the idea of exploring shipwrecks and uncovering lost treasures, so he set out to make a name for himself in and outside the salvage diving world.
At first, it was a difficult transition. Salavage diving required a completely different set of skills than what he had used as a combat diver.
Eventually, Ferry became one of the most renowned salvage divers in the world. And he didn't just find old treasures.
He shared stories of his experiences and gave his viewers on his YT channel a glimpse into the world of salvage diving. Through his passion and dedication, he inspired countless others to pursue their own dreams, both above and below the water.

@juanzambra2134 yes it is
Beautiful video and recap of the job. Thx Ferry Talor for this movie
@@wimdebruyn1533 much appreciated sir!
Grave video!
@@samuel-37-defer87 merci!
What does it cost to get trained and get the gear I wanna learn how to cave dive
@@devinnoel8859 I’d say around 1.2k maybe more depending on the costs for the pool, this includes 5h a day swimming pool training and 5h classroom lectures, for a 5 day period. Then another 5 days into the caves, this incudes 2 to 3 dives a day and you’re gone for at least an hour. Add some money here for your overnight stay. The costs for the equipment is hard to tell, depends on your budget and how much you want to spend.
@Taylor066 I appreciate you answering back good luck make sure you record your first cave!
Leuk om te zien.
Bet that is more fun with a blackout mask....and maybe an instructor tossing/spinning you around a bit....and probably turning some gas supplies on/off just for kicks and giggles.
My father Frank Marsh was British Liaison Officer on board Rubis from July 1943 to February 1945. Great to see that she is still there to be visited rather than being scrapped.
Thanks for sharing this info. As an amateur historian I appreciate this, I going back on the Rubis at the end of August and I see if I can do some better footage.
thank you so much for the video!
When?... BAHAHAHAHA no Friggin way those are old!
I can assure you they are mate
man 63 views, and 8 likes?? give this man his flowers, on an amazing career, and journey through life. I my self am working down the cave line now, hats off to you sir, and thank you for your service. 🫡 safe dives
Thank you for your comment sir, it's for people like yourselfs I keep doing this, much appreciated!
Thank you the bolt was loose hopefully that cures the issue
I’m having issues with my Fleming grey it seems to not run true to the stone
Have you tried to adjust the play from the swing arm?
Aaaaand I’m not going to pay the shop price for replacements ever again.
Is this with the norwegian army engineers or?
Yes it is
@@Taylor066 Awesome, had part of our training for deployment to Afghanistan on Skjold.
@@pulzzz In that case you more familiar with the area than I am, I was only there for 2 weeks. In the weekend we went up to Narva and some other place for wreck diving. I’ll try to go back in a year from now. I like these kind of remote places.
@@Taylor066 If you enjoy wreckdiving you really should go to Harstad. There are some absolutely amazing wreacks from WW2 there
Hey dad are you coming to Canada for rougish in 2 weeks??
Sadly it’s the other unit that’s coming son, get your French from under the carpet! Pas de parlez Anglais I’m afraid
Absolutely devastating
Any idea when the next one is in BC? I’ll try to make sure to catch that bus, when Ferry’s B***hes team is still around by that time that is!
What's with the extra suit inflator on your suit leg?
@thedivesmith8838 It's not an extra. It's the only one, these are designed for rebreathers carried on the chest. As diving with these makes it extremely hard to reach an inflator on the chest location behind the rebreather, the've put them on the leg. For scuba diving I just use a longer whip, this way I can use my DUI (in this case) for multiple purposes. I'll try to make a video on the subject in the future
NE486 30602765 glue used for repairing inflatable boats can be easily found online
Nice movie
Hier kan men wat bijleren van jou he! Very professional!!
I would like to have heard some history of the barge and technical details of its salvage operation.
V.I.P.'s
It is a good video, but you should explain each step of the process. What glue did you use? Was it a neoprene dry suit or a trilam? Will isopropyl alcohol work the same as acetone? Just giving a critique.
Hi Terry, Can you please resend the video with the radius dressing on it. It’s not active for some reason. Thanks
Thank you, this is helpful. Anything special to your levelling technique?
@@Taylor066 sorry, your level checker with the ruler, I’m trying not to buy an expensive kit
@@Taylor066 Thanks again for your support. I bought a level kit and I’m constantly getting different levels from the back of the skate to the front..always lower on top. My wheel looks balanced and centred and is at position C currently. I do notice if I pull up on the whole swing arm there is slight play in the base assembly. Any thoughts.
Hi just picked one of these up. Will you make a vid of how to dress the wheel and set the radius?
@@Taylor066 Great! Thanks a lot!
@@Taylor066 Thanks for this! The problem I'm having right now is the cam is ceased up and I can't spin it to set the radius (I loosen the screw and it still wont budge). What do you use the 2nd wheel for?
@@Taylor066 Hey Ferry, I've run into an issue with the clamp plates that has me completely stumped. Would it be possible for me to send you pictures of what I'm dealing with and maybe you could provide me with some feedback?
Leuke video's ❤❤❤
Interessante video!!! Great job Ferre !!!
Dear Ferry, what kind of glue are you using? Can be used too for neoprene wrist and necks? Thanks
Thanks for posting the video. I have my supplies now to do wrist and neck seals on my drysuit. Who makes the white wrist seal form that you used?
@@Taylor066 Thanks for the reply. I found a glass vinegar bottle in the kitchen that with a few wraps of duct tape will work just right. Drain pipe would also be a good DIY option. I appreciate the suggestion.
I don't get it why my local dive shops charge $100 per wrist when this is an easy job. What type of glue do you need for latex?
It sounds like your local dive shop enjoys bending people over
@@justintinault6018 oh yeah, and not only one dive shop. Seems to me they all agree on the prices to install these things
@@esanchezp I think I found the market in Arizona. Called around my local shops all the way to Tucson and everyone ships them out.

hi, im having trouble dressing my stone on the b3. can't get the blade level after grinding. can you help? I just bought it. New wheel and diamond.
