I've worked with the green on the podcast S02E13 on an infinity model. I will try to do more of those. I think I've tried most of them now and really like them

I don’t think it will kill both games but it will divide the players The fact their seems to be no way to play both with either sets of minis is going to be a miss IMO. Yes someone will do the rules so you can play with the legion minis should not be that hard they are still close to each other. I’m sure you could play with the same rules without too much issue

I agree, I found the shade very dark compare to the mid tone and yes mid and highlight are very close I didn’t have time to try the rest, hoping I can find the time this weekend to try a few more

Google is your friend: cobblestone pattern. You don’t have to get an SVG just a PNG or JPG or similar and use an online SVG converter to turn it into an SVG.

@@danielrainbird4101 black and white some basic pattern would be your best bet you don’t want each stone to have details just the basic pattern of alternating stones.

I removed all of mine, I have texture 3D printed bases so want the feet to be directly on the base. Not sure why it grinds me the wrong way to have those on the minis… I remove them on plastic minis and metal minis alike

As explained in the video you need to use 21 Once you put 21 and the other pieces on it it all just make sense

Took me a good 10min turning the pieces every-which way until I used piece 21 and looked at how the piece should fit It is very weird they just fit along a seam

I’ve printed some terrain (rocks and terrain pieces) with lightning at 15% and that worked well. I’ve printed some mechanical parts still with the regular infill. It really depends on the application. Let me know how it works out

@@thehobbystreakers i certainly will im currently printing myself a incredible hulk statue i plan on painting and so the torso is whats printing now. Im 4 days in a 8 day print

@@Rawshade wow that’s a very long print how big is it? My longest print was probably around 35H give or take a few hours

@@thehobbystreakers the whole statue is going to be 29.5 inches tall ill take measurement when i grt home of just the torso but i also did 0.12 layer height for extra detail

He’s assembled now so will get even more awesome once painted… that’s the dragon you’re talking about right 😜

Thanks, I would make them a bit more chunkier if I had to print them again to better fit with the North Star minis. But the sculpts are great

Good catch, I missed that. I would probably put her as an Irregular, that seems to fit the narrative (non military unit) and it's a unit that only Spain and Russia have

Well that makes me feel even worse about my painting... You should definitely keep working at it you have talent!

So the Rafael has a huge belly so will keep tons of paint I think it’s probably the biggest out there for a size 2. I don’t know what it is and I think it’s all personal experience. Somehow I feel like The tip of the Windsor is not where my eyes see it, I keep missing what I want to paint… I know makes zero sense. The Rafael just feels good in my hand. I’m not at your level of painting so I don’t know how it fairs for advanced painting techniques but Miniac uses it also and he’s pretty advanced As for the hobby streak please keep posting and put pics, this is the whole point of the hobby streak! You don’t have to do much just do a little everyday,. I posted a picture of my screen while editing this video… would rather see your progress than a screenshot… Look around at other posts, some people just post text some pictures, some paint 20figures over a week some 1 over a month. To everyone their own! It’s not a competition it’s not made to show off, it’s just there to get support, feedback when your ask, and overall to keep yourself accountable of doing something. The best part is that it gets you to stop and unwind for the day, relax, paint (or not) and actually doing something constructive. The little you feel you are doing is still better than sitting watching TV and accomplishing nothing at all. Please please keep posting everyday! Your painting level is so much higher than I could aspire to!

@@thehobbystreakers Oh gosh, thank you so much for the kind words. I don't know what else to say. I might give the Rafael a try, the big belly sounds like something I could use for the blending too. I know quite a few people use it, I was also interested in the Opus one, mostly because Angel Giraldez uses it and on camera it looks like the kind of brush I'd like too - but I guess I will need to try them all. Weirdly enough, I've been missing some details whilst trying to nail them with my Winsor too. I attributed it to my slight shakiness some days, but maybe it is the brush, who knows. Okay, I'll keep on posting every day as much as I possibly kind, you convinced me to keep trying. Thank you so much, you're too kind!
