I'm eager to get my first T, and I heavily considered getting this species. But people on forums really complain about how often they try to escape and that they are not on display often. I was prepared to deal with a fast and skittish breed, but not one that tried to escape ALL the time, especially if it isn't on display enough. I keep wondering if those people just had bad husbandry because the people who are happy with them sound like the complete opposite experience. I'm sad tho. I wanted a semi-arboreal or arboreal species really bad. I'm now considering the Mexican flame knee, Chaco golden knee, and Brazilian black instead.

Dude that was a fantastic catch once she corralled herself between the cans and the board. One you got her in the cup, you respected her and went nice and easy..and she went right in calmly. Little bit of a rough start but a very nice finish. Well done.

Little one was already trying to make this enclosure its home. Look forward to watching them grow

I have a few of this species, 1 of which escaped recently, thankfully it was the smallest one of mine(around 3-4 inch legspan) I found it after searching for over an hour.
