You are wrong it was not a sin to heal on the Sabbath Day. The Pharisees wanted to accuse him because they had made up many of their own rules around the Sabbath and other laws of God. Jesus explained to them about David and why eating the shewbread that only the priests were allowed to eat was not counted as sin. Jesus said..... Mar 2:25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had ((need,)) and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? Mat 12:12 ...... Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath days. If it is lawful then that means it is not sin. So Christ did not sin. We know what work is. It is going out to earn a living doing physical labour or otherwise to that endeavour. we know what God meant. The preparation day is given to us to prepare our homes and our needs for the Sabbath day so that we are not labouring on that day cooking or shopping so that husband, wife, children, servants and animals can enjoy the rest given, and praise God for it . There may be a time when something becomes necessary. Like when Jesus had to say to one He had just healed " Take up you bed and walk". Satan wants us to believe that God is unreasonable so he had the Pharisees adding unbearable laws around the Sabbath to cause people to hate it. Christ knew it would not be good for him to leave his bed there, . It may not have been there the next day, and it may be the only thing he had to sleep on. If Christ had compromised with sin, He would not have been eligible to become the sacrifice for the sins of the world. We cannot compromise with sin either. We have to believe that God means what He says , that if we sin we will die. God is merciful, but also the Lawgiver and a God of Justice, which means eternal death punishment will also be given for disobedience unless sincerely repented of. Healing demonstrates the great power of God. but we must also Love the truth and obey Him through the power of His Holy Spirit. Without it we cannot obey God and are not His. Without The Spirit. It is not evident because we speak in tongues, as that can be imitated. But is evident by the fruit, righteousness. Without the Spirit, we are still carnal and in bondage to satan so will sin. His Spirit is not given to us according to our will or desires. It is given according to His will to those whom He calls and chooses. To those that truly love and have submitted themselves to be a living sacrifice, so whatever God wills, whether it be for us to live or die to suffer or to live in comfort, we submit fully knowing that He is with us trusting Him without wavering. We we are healed, God forgives our sins, Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. We then have the order to sin no more....Joh_5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee....
