You use stropping compound not soap and you need already have an edge for this to work

Wrong method to "sharpen" that is stropping, its to get the fine burs off the edge after sharpening the blade, to actually get an edge you use a stone of different grits from a rough grit to a polish grit, and if you dont have a sharpener you can use sandstone, quartz and granite on the field

This doesnt sharpen anything. If you wsnt to know how to put an edge on a knife go learn it from someone else not this goof. Srawping a blade only "Polishs" th edge making you think you made it sharper but in all reality. Its still th same edge just with 0 burrs and slightly polished lol
