Amsterdam is a city that truly captivates the senses. From the sunlit canals to the vibrant tulips, every corner tells a story. Such a beautiful place to explore!

To not show always the center you should go in Oud-Zuid, on the west of Vondelpark. There is the Amstelveenseweg that crosses the famous intertwined trees Lomanstraat. As it's one the of oldest part of Amsterdam is really nice to walk by.

I visited Amsterdam a long time ago, and I see that, for the most part, it hasn’t changed. Unfortunately, vusually it is the most boring city you could imagine. It’s structure: habitats mostly 4 flights high (5, here and there), in soothing and unnoticeable colors (gray, brick red, etc.) with endless “vertical” windows usually covered with a protective criss-cross. The whole is terribly monotonous. Look across the traffic lane, to the street opposite yours - it looks like a mirror reflection. I think the idea with this architecture was to make the city look as it looked centuries ago, but a few jarringly different things would help. The famous canals are lovely, especially in the summer. Tulips must be farmed somewhere, but I didn't get to see them.
