*I used 5 mm Bobbiny braided cotton cord for making this bag. If you are using another type of cord or if you are a beginner in macrame I recommend that you cut your cords longer (10 to 20 percent longer). This way you make sure that you have enough length for your threads to complete the project.

I started making it,but i could only make 23 loops on the sides instead of 29 due to lesser length of cords......is it going to be a problem ? Should i adjust the length of cord for sides as well?

You gave wrong measurments. In video at 10:19 you said that we have to have 39 rows, but you have more, maybe 50 rows. I followed your measurments and I'm ran out of cord and itt's not enough to make flap of the bag. What should I do now?
I'm sorry you ran out of cord, but as I said in the description, you need to adjust the length of your cords according to the cord you are using and your work style. I suggested thst you should increase the length of the cord by 10-20 percent to make sure you can finish the bag. My measurements were right for me and for many others, but unfortunately not for everyone as it seems...

Really don't know whether I will get a reply since it has been quite long, but if I use 3mm braided cords, then do I need to make any changes to the number of ropes used or their measurement?
I would cut more ropes (about 34). Otherwise the purse will come out much smaller. You will also need to add several rows of knots. Keep knotting until you reach the size you like. There is no need to cut the ropes longer. Happy knotting! ❤️

As I mentioned at the beginning of the video, for this project I used about 100 m of 5 mm braided cotton cord. 😊
