Roads are great, almost 3 thirds of the road is good. Manali is more scenic in comparison to shimla route.. although shimla route is more safe in comparison to manali route

what precautions to take for those having low BP problem
There are some medicine which you will need on high altitude in lack of oxygen scenario... Kindly consult a doctor before taking any medicines. Along with all these drink ample amount of water..keep some toffees with u this will help in dizziness. Also please carry some oxygen cylinder...because over there oxygen cylinders are too costly.
