Priscilla, Elizabeth and I visited the James River rapids at Belle Isle in Richmond on a very pretty Sunday in July 2024.

Priscilla, Elizabeth and I visited the Standing Stones of Carnac in Brittany during our May 2024 trip to France. This is a truly amazing array of around 10,000 megaliths erected in rows across the landscape. I found out that the tower shown in the video is the remains of an old mill.

Priscilla, Elizabeth and I continued our trip to France in May 2024 with a visit to Carnac in Brittany, the site of several remarkable Stone Age monuments. This is the Tumulus Saint-Michel, reputed to be the largest grave mound in Europe. I incorrectly dated the tumulus to the 5th century BC I should have said 5th millenium! Once again, please pardon the sniffles.

Priscilla, Elizabeth and I visited the Pont du Gard during our recent travels in France. Please excuse the sniffles I was fighting a runny nose for almost the entire trip!

We visited the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC, on the first day of Spring, 2024, to see the cherry blossoms and visit Stumpy the Cherry Tree. I will certainly need a better low-light camera in the future!

Priscilla, Elizabeth and I stopped by Lafreniere Park in Metairie, Louisiana, during our visit to Louisiana in December 2023. The park teems with ducks, geese, ibises, gulls and countless other birds.

The terminal of the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport features this very playful fountain.

During our December 2023 visit to New Orleans, Priscilla, Elizabeth and I looked in on the lobby of the Bourbon Orleans Hotel on Orleans Street in the French Quarter to see their Christmas decorations. While I call the hotel "Royal Orleans" several times in the video, it is truly the Bourbon Orleans Hotel.

A highlight of our September 2023 trip to Scotland was a visit to Balblair Distillery where I got to hand bottle my own 15 year old cask strength Balblair. Thanks to Angus for all your help and to Elizabeth for capturing the moment on video.

Priscilla and Elizabeth did a great job decorating our house in Burke for Halloween. We had lots of trick-or-treaters (almost ran out of candy)! There was a large blow-up of an image of interstellar space from the Hubble Space Telescope that visitors could use as a backdrop for a Halloween photo, and many took advantage of it. Thanks to Priscilla and Elizabeth for a wonderful evening!

During our visit to the Scottish Highlands in September 2023, Priscilla, Elizabeth and I visited Carn Liath Broch, an Iron Age fortification on the East coast of Scotland near the North Sea.
