These buy now pay later traps are just the new version of QVC 😅. I have 1 credit card and we pay it in FULL each month. I get credit card offers in the mail and I look at the interest rates...22% and HIGHER! I remember when my parent's credit cards had a 2%-3% interest rate and they are still in debt 20 years later... I'm not falling for these consumer traps. I enjoy mending and altering the clothes I have (hand sewing is relaxing, artistic, and rewarding for me). My friends appreciate my hand made gifts as well as the ones I plan and save up for.

I have used Affirm for purchases, but small purchases, only about $200-$300. Big items like furniture or appliances I either bought it out right or on rare occasions, put it on the company's credit card. I never bought the next big purchases until I paid it off the one before it.

I just bought this bag in Stockholm! When I got it home I noticed some marks that Im thinking might be scratches on the front and im semi freaking out, but yours looks amazing and much shinier than mine! can I ask what you use to clean/condition it? maybe it would help with mine! I literally wore it for a couple of hours and was so so fragile with it so im really confused as to what happened.

I would love to see people incorporate luxurious items in their everyday style. I would like the mental energy to care for things individually (I don't got time to hand wash all my knits nor the space to dry them flat. I have like 5 pairs of pants I need to hem and mend some holes in too) I think we need; Repairable good quality shoes (and cobblers in every city) Colourful high quality basics & elevated basics Pieces that could be passed down for generations Also I think we're clever enough to make clothing adaptable to changing body sizes throughout the years, I want deep pleats, lacing, elastics, I want to be able to gain or lose 10 lbs and still fit everything.

Checkout readymade jewelry super cool brand the science behind their materials is cool I have a few bracelets they last don’t tarnish and cute classic styles.

Quiet luxury will never die.

Something you said stuck out, and that is the idea of being high maintenance bc it allows you to be low maintenance. This is the truth!
