11-54 is quite thick! I played a lot with 10-52 strings and didn't have any issues. However, recently, I started using regular gauge strings. I've never made any adjustments to the guitar nut. The Neural DSP Petrucci plugin has a pitch shifter, so I don't necessarily need thick strings.

@@tabs.studio it sounds killer, I just got an HB Fusion T HH, amazing guitar, didn't like the pickups tho..prob throw some EMGs in it.

@@guitarlair Sweet! I don't know much about other Harley Benton guitars, but they all look nice and well-made. I used Neural DSP Petrucci plugin with four guitar tracks, which really helped me achieve that big sound. But yeah, EMGs are definitely a solid choice for heavy metal!

Thanks! The guitar sound comes from the Neural DSP Archetype Petrucci plugin, with the preset "The Mirror" which I adapted a little to my guitar and my tastes. I cut the midrange from it and applied a little EQ to blend the tracks in the mix. But, essentially, it's the Petrucci preset "The Mirror" with subtle EQs. Note that two guitars are panned left and right for extra power.
