Grlfrnd I just watched this & I’m in Australia & I’m going with all 3 of your tips. I hope this encourages you to keep on doing this. I haven’t checked out your channel yet but I will & subscribe after I make my cake. I don’t usually use cake mix but I am in a huge hurry & have a lot more to do so I thought I would see about cake mix & hacks. Yours seems the most straightforward & was also what I wanted- not adding heaps more ingredients or whatever, which frankly seems pointless…. Why not just make your own cake if you’re doing all that? Anyway thanks heaps & I hope to find you are doing well with a lot more subs!! Wish me luck 🍀 😎🤷‍♀️♥️🇬🇸♥️✌️

Great tips. I learned a secret that a number of bakeries OFTEN use cake mixes plus the hacks that you mentioned to make the cakes and cupcakes taste “homemade”. For the gluten-free folks in the crowd - these hacks also work on gluten-free cake mixes as well.

I know this is a year old video but, instead of writing down every item's materials, it might be easier for you to make a sample board for custom orders. Small squares with each stain and paint and so on. And then name/number those.

Interesting video but you should have tasted it at the end to let us know how it tastes as well as shown us the crumb texture of the cake. A food video without taste test at the end leaves the viewer feeling that something is missing.

Hi Mrs.Patel from india. I always make this cake. But not with extra egg, butter or milk. Your audio was not clear so PLEASE PLEASE can u tell me how much butter and milk (in cups) u added. Also if i have to add rum or whiskey how much should I add and do I substitute its quantity wih other liquids. Please do let me know.

if you're elevating your cake, why not make homemade buttercream frosting to compliment it? just seems like a waste of time if you aren't going the whole 9 yards...
