This came at a great time. What I would have felt about this song in the past has been amplified by this transition of growth in my life. This makes me think of being in a gas station store at night in the middle of nowhere, with the buzzing of dingy lights. It’s just me and a man at the cash register. I’m walking through the aisles and I’m at peace, which is very odd for me. A scene like this would normally make me uncomfortable. I am 20 and listening to this while working a mundane office job that kind of depresses me. I have big aspirations for the future and who I want to be. This album feels like a marker into phase 2 of my life. Thank you for sharing, my friend.
