I’m English, spent half my life there and go back. It honestly amazes me how much houses go for and how little space you get. Not to mention the cost of everything else in England.
Stupid system
Makes sense. Thank you.

the simple truth is there are no builders to build them
Ok so my property is valued at 180,000 and I have around 80,000 left on my mortgage. Would i still be able to port that over for a house valued around the 180,000 mark?
Yes, that sounds fine, would you like to have a conversation about how this works in practice?
How soon do you think they’ll reduce the discounts? Would it be fazed out?
There has been no announcement so far either way, but after Labour came to power in 1997 the discounts were capped in England in 1999
No but if they start building houses on our food-growing land in a world where climate-change is trashing global food-production then they can certainly change the fooding market.
WHAT , IT IS NOT CLIMATE CHANGE THAT WILL CAUSE FOOD SHORTAGES IT IS THE WEFs AGENDA MILLIONS CATTLE BEEN SLAUGHTERD IN THE USA FARMERS FORCED TO SELL THEIR LAND OR TOLD TO STOP USING WATER FOR THEIR CORNWHEAT BARLEY OATS CROPS WE ARE DOING THE SAME IN UK AS IS FRANCE SPAIN SWEDEN HOLLAND ESPECIALLY / GOVERNMENT TAKEN MOST OF THEIR FARMING LAND STOPPED MEAT PRODUCTION BACON PIGS ETC WEF GLOBALISTS WANT 86 PERCENT OF THE POPULATION GONE BY 2045 THEY ARE GOING TO STARVE US MANY MILLIONS WILL DIE tHEY ARE BLAMING CLIMATE CHANGE BUT ARE USING CLOUD SEEDING WEATHER MANIPULATION TO ALTER THE WEATHER ALL AROUND THE WORLD GEOENGINEERING LOOK UP< HAARP.>. As though there aren’t enough houses being built already!
Government keeping their promises 😂😂😂😂
Would be nice if they built actual houses not just flats
Do you work in building trade
Entertaining!

What happens if you port the mortgage. And the property has increased in value but your next property is the same value as the old one. For example, if property is £190,000 and i sell it for £220,000 but my next property is £190,000. Will the bank give the equity back to you or will they take it off the loan?
Yes, any equity is free for you to use however you wish.
How many time this process
Thanks for being upfront in a timely manner

basically= pay them more money.............thanks
Surely even with children involved, the house can still be handed over to their ex and then they should they not get a mortgage on that property on their own they can sell and use the equity to purchase an affordable place?
Hi sir mortgage transfer to wife this case how much time
Hi, im looking to buy out my partners ex on their mortgage. How do I calculate how much I'll need to pay. Also, she was the only one who paid the deposit. Does the depoit amount need to be considered when im doing the calculation? Thanks 👍🏼
Hi Michael, It’s really between your partner and ex to negotiate. One way of working it out would be to calculate the equity by subtracting the outstanding mortgage balance from the value of the property, dividing it by 2, and then knocking off the deposit your partner put in initially. Hope that helps. Thanks Malcolm.
Is there any chances FHTB house can go for letting. Becaus my base is very far from the home
Hi, yes, this could be a possibility for you.
Do you have to stay in the army for 10 years to pay it back or can you set up payment plans and get out early?
Hi, If you decide to leave the Armed Forces altogether and have a property which was purchased using FHTB and some or all of the loan is outstanding, you will only be allowed to leave if the FHTB has already been repaid in full or you have made acceptable arrangements to repay the FHTB in full prior to your leaving date. Please speak with your Unit HR Administrator about the repayment methods. One method of repayment may come from re-mortgaging the property and repaying the FHTB loan from the re-mortgage money. You cannot leave the Armed Forces and retain the FHTB loan, regardless of whether you are re-mortgaging or not. Your repayments will continue at the allotted rate until you leave. Thanks, Malcolm.
Great video, thanks!
Hi can you help I have been divorced for 3 years now and the court order was to transfer equity into my wife's name as she was not on the mortgage initially, but the mortgage company refused based on affordability, I was indemnified from the mortgage payments so I never paid the mortgage and nor did she and now the mortgage company are going head with repossession, what shall we do ?
Hi, It is a legal matter this rather than one for us, but I would say nothing would really get in the way of a Lender taking possession of a property where mortgage payments have been missed, irrespective of what was agreed between you. I recommend you open dialogue with the Lender if you have not already done so about what you plan to do and seek legal advice. Thanks, Malcolm.
I fall in this category group…would it be possible to get a mortgage under a ltd company or would this be impossible?
Hi, not with any of the lenders on our panel, sorry.
I have a few questions: 1. Why are those chains happening, what are the benefits (the disadvantages are obvious), 2. Why is the government allows them to take place. Only in England my friend, only in England.
Thanks for this info, question though. I'm moving in the with gf who's house is completely paid off but half was left to her sister in the will. Can I buy her sisters half of the house by remortgaging?
Sort of, can you book in for a call and we can explain - 0800 029 3757
Can I port my mortgage if I have a shared mortgage with my parter and we are separating??
Hi, this may well be possible but you would need to be able to satisfy the affordability assessment without your ex’s income.
@@MoneymanTV is it simply worth having a conversation with my mortgage provider (platform) and seing if they can do something for us both? We would both like to port the mortgage separately. As opposed to just one of use getting the rate we are currently on.
@@jrt123able Sure good idea, if they can’t help please feel free to get back in touch 🙂
Nicely explained
Wow, thank you for sharing this great information and knowledge, you were able to articulate it and explain it very well for us to better understand it all. i would love to take this time and openly extend an invitation to have you as a special guest and also an expert on the topic I am sure that our Podcast subscribers' followers would love it. Looking for hearing back from you,
I'm in this position now, I moved out and she's talking about selling and moving. I want to buy her out, I'm definitely on the deeds, does that mean I'm definitely on the mortgage?
Hi, I'm almost certain you will be yes 😊
@@MoneymanTV thanks, now i need to speak to the mortgage company despite not having any of the login details etc lol
You're on the deeds i.e. you legally part own the house, simple. She can sell all she likes, when it comes to the deed transfer you can stop the whole process dead in its' tracks, as you never consented in writing.
@@mirola73 I offered to buy her out. Her reply before I even got to that part was you can't make me move until our youngest is 18. I never mentioned making her do anything!. I literally said at some point we need to talk about the house. Guess she's just gonna make my life as hard as possible from now on. ( no different to when we were together tbh haha)
Hello i have a question. Me , my father and my brother was approved by house mortgage. But i have a problem with my bank statements as. I was gambling before we get pre approved. But I was just supporting my father on this mortgage. Will that accept my final approval? Even if im not the principal buyer? Are we fetting declined?
Hi Mike. It’s not a black and white answer, it can depend on the frequency and amounts of the transactions. For example, the odd lottery or football bet is usually fine, but higher and more frequent transactions can sometimes lead to a decline. It doesn't matter whether you are the first or second applicant.
Malcolm, would first-time buyers still be eligible if they have exchanged on a property, but not completed?
Hi, yes you will still be eligible as the stamp duty is payable on completion.
Afternoon, Me and my partner are looking at applying for a mortgage in March next year through yourself. At the minute we are discussing getting a joint bank account to simplify our finances but we are worried this will impact our application because it won’t have been opened for 12 months. Our current bank accounts have been opened for longer than ten year. Not sure what’s the best thing to do at the moment? Thanks
Hi Nathan, no this should not have a negative impact when you come to apply for your mortgage. Many Thanks, Malcolm.
I'd advice working with a mortgage broker for professional advice on how to go about investing in real estate ... just to avoid regrets
It will be over 20% for food inflation, as the majority of products now have less weight, with many at the same price, while others have a price increase too! Therefore, not included in inflation figures. For example, if a product has 10% less ingredients, that is the same as a 10% price rise if the price is the same, but if the price has also risen by 5%, that's the same as a 15% price increase, when only 5% will be included in the inflation figures! Finally, 5 months of recession is actually a depression!
Was this rate hike released early? I thought it was meant to be on the 8th?
Hi Liam, I believe that it was always scheduled to be the 4th of August, with other confirmed MPC dates for 2022 as follows: Thursday 4 August Thursday 15 September Thursday 3 November Thursday 15 December You can keep track of future dates on the BOE website here: www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy-summary-and-minutes/2022/august-2022 Hope that helps 🙂
