To answer the question posed in the title: Absolutely, yes. We spent a few months traveling around Sicily. But what happened when we were going back? Our car was robbed. All our photographic equipment, including two drones and two laptops, were stolen. However, they had to leave my desktop PC behind. It was lodged behind the front seat, packed in an unattractive plain cardboard box, and impossible to pull out without moving the seat. That's the only reason I can present these videos to you, which total almost thirty hours in length.
So, even though we lost a few thousand euros in the theft, the most valuable asset in the car - the reminders of our memories in Sicily - remained untouched. To conclude this story, despite being robbed in Italy (that was actually near Napoli, not in the so-called mafia-infused island of Sicily), and after some time to heal from the trauma, I would still definitely go back.
This place offers unimaginable beauty, condensed into a relatively small island. An island that, with a good plan, you can travel across in a few weeks and see everything that you see here in these shots!
