Impressed to see how hd 2000 able to on par with GT 210, while UHD 770 and Ryzen 7000 2CU iGPU have struggle to keep up with GT 1010 GDDR5
This is a great idea for parents with children.😊
I recently bought a walkie-talkie to communicate with my son when he is outside. It's a very useful tool and chipper than phone 👍
I bought it for the exact same reason
I'm still using an i5 2400 as my office and media machine/server (5800X3D for pure gaming). Fast enough for everyday tasks, browsing and even video playback up to 4K, albeit in combination with a spare RX 560 I had laying arround. Sure there are more power efficient ways these days to get this kind of performance, but the sandy bridge CPU's weren't that bad in that regard, especially if not under full load, which rarely happens even on those older CPU's on an office machine.
during some time, I’ve been working on a PC based on the Sandy Bridge cpu as well) it covered all my tasks)
Bro this was our family computer ages ago. I couldve swear our system was on ddr2. Oh yah, My dad still uses the computer to this day with windows 7. haha
Nah it was DDR3 already, still use sandy bridge today in my daily driver, albeit with Linux Mint in order to have a still relevant and updated OS platform.
I'm sure you can find a $10-$20 DX11 gpu that can be a huge upgrade. R9 270x for example
UGreen cables aren't that great, so you might want to get a usb-c cable from another brand.
Hello bro, a question, can I use some fragments of your video to add to mine? I will promote your channel if you want 🤠
Hello. Yes, use them, just leave a link in the description for original video. Thanks.
Thanks bro, don't worry, everything about you will be in the description 👌
Damn thank you for the test I have 5700xt, so I probably have stutter due to CPU being way too old for this job (6 cores 6 threads)
I suggest it will be more stable after first patches and you could play on high setting at 1080p.
@edgy.channel Oh yes, already loaded that popular mod for fixing VRAM crashes and stuttering + graphical changes to increase fps It helps to gain like 5-10 frames and reduces most of the stuff low end card from the past gen are afraid of Just have to say that on low the game consumes exactly 7.9/8 gb of ram for 60 fps, tested myself and it works just fine without any problems Thanks again :]
I tried an i3 330m HD 1000 and it only works for 720p h264 videos, I tried minecraft and it gave 40fps with everything on low, windowed mode and 2 chunks 💀
Wow, you did that at lightning speed! I asked you yesterday about the stalker test, and I have it today. I respect that
Hope you enjoyed it!
I think its a resize bar because of your mobo and old xeon
game looks promising
Странно, на моей 7700xt выдаёт 81fps
i was thinking that the sandy bridge generation has an intel hd 3000 graphics, hd 2000 was a half-cutted hd 3000 and had a terrible performance back there..
Still gaming amd beast
Big blunder with that 5200mhz
I would appreciate it if you could add an FPS meter above the game. Love this game. GSC saved the old atmosphere. It still looks scary, much more than Fallout 4. I'm curious how well it is optimized to play on an old machine
Sure, I will try to do it in a few days
not classic not retro not vintage
What were you expecting to see here? Mario, Street Fighter III, and Pac-Man?
I still have a desktop with an i5 - 2500 CPU and 16 Gig RAM. I must admit with Win 11 24h2 things have slowed down a bit.
4 cores and 4 threads nearly in 2025 is just to slow, 8c and 16 threads is a must, to have enjoyable pc for just basic stuff. And you get a Ryzen 1700x 8c 16t plus mainboard including the fan for like 50€, ddr4 ram 16 gb you get for like 25€ and a new nvme from gigabyte 20€. For 95€ you geta system which has more 4 cores and 12 more threads and you will be safe tor the next 5 years, easily.
@@ibobeko4309 I don't know about that. My core i5 6600k is plugging along quite nicely with no issues.
@@ibobeko4309 8 cores is definitely not a "must" maybe in 5-10 years.
@@IsntGwen for internet and casual gaming you need 8c16t for somehow smooth experience.
@@darkprinc979 4 cores and 4 threats are to less in 2025.
The first generation arrandale series processors are perhaps even more suitable for retro games, without dx11 support, but specifications they have great indicators in the speed of texturing and filling mpixel
nice vid bros, pls test hd 4000) or even better - compare every old integrated gpu from HD 2000 to 4600 - im sure it will be usefull for chosing retro setup)
Thanks! I’m planning to test HD Graphics 4400 soon. The laptop’s RAM is running in single-channel mode, which will definitely bottleneck the performance. Anyway I’ll make the video in a few weeks.
Is the voice and script AI generated? Somethings are worded weirdly "Responsive even with multiple tabs open" - quantify it, how many is a few, the four you show? Scrolling a wiki is hardly resouce intensive. What is the difference between light browsing, normal browsing? Vhrome, Edge, firefox what? Browser test feels meaningless as nothing is quantified "I tested almost all" - Empty statement that tells me nothing. why even say this? Either you did or you didnt. It's like saying I nearly did my homework. "Console like 30fps" is a meaningless sentence. What exactly is console like, the graphical settings or are console 30fps somehow different from PC 30fps?
Thanks for such a detailed feedback! Really appreciate it. Yep, I'm just a neural network trying our best to pass as humans. 🙂
@@edgy.channel Haha I love this response!
I like this video. I played this titles when i was a kid back in 2010. Where did you download them now? I couldn't find a trusted source without bein a virus
Thank you. Some of them are stored on my drives, and others we bought on Steam during years.
For these older games, i have a sandy bridge i7, 2600, paired with a gt 1030, it's good for these era kinds of games.
Жаль что 10 серия видеокарт не поддерживает операционную систему Windows XP
Not surprised with this result because 7gen i5 is still the same CPU but with higher clock +-20%. All intel CPUs from 1st gen to 7th gen i5 it is just 4 cores monopoly by Intel until AMD introduce Ryzen CPUs. This CPU is still capable to handle even GTX1660
The 1st gen i series is much closer to the core 2 architecture, sandy bridge was actually a significant upgrade over the first gen i chips.
I use i3 4330 + hd 4600 with windows xp in my retro pc.
that gen is still my main rig XD
I 5 retro..... 😅😅😅😅 Durons and Pentuim 3 are retros. Don't make ma laugh.
Oh, yeah) My first config was 1 core cpu Celeron 1ghz, 128mb ram and gpu with16mb) Actually I still have it, but not sure it still works. :)
80286 are real retro!
If anyone have this kinda build and want to upgrade same board get i7 3770 but if you want new build get AM4
A lot of great colors phones this year
new colors for the same old iPhone
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thanks for visiting
Very Good CPU for it's era, very nostalgic!
Is this a sapphire GPU??
No, it's 2fans XFX version www.techpowerup.com/review/xfx-radeon-rx-5700-xt-ultra-thicc-ii/
Should've tested Half-Life 2 too, hell it's even free right now (though wasn't when this video was done).
I thought to test HL2 too, but I decided to reduce amount of tested games. Going to increace amount of the games twice at least in the next video.
I dont like the voiceover or ai or whatever but otherwise the video is nice
btw, this old thing can be overclocked? 1 week ago my friend give me 2014 year laptop with i5-4210u and I can overclock igpu here via intel extreme utility .-. plus increase cpu power limit (I raised it from 15w to 25w and it's work)
yeap, it can be overclocked, especially higher models like 2500, 2700k
@@edgy.channel overclocking the non K variants was pretty pointless though as you were only able to do it over the front side bus which stresses the whole system, imo not worth it today as these old chips and boards are all at least slightly degraded if used regularly over time. No real benefits for what they are useful in todays world, 2500K and 2600K with free multiplicator, different story though.
great video!
Thanks!
No one game on CPU in 2024, I have similar aged corei7 4790K and I never even try but it´s still impresive ....
I think 4790K can deliver such better performance with the hd4600
Max Payne was a great game.
yeap, i used to like it)
it also runs gta 4 well in low settings 600p i used to get 26fps it was playable much
perfect) i didn’t expect that i could even run gta4)
Next video try i5 4570 Intel HD 4600 pcsx2 emulateur 😊
nice idea, i would try, but maybe with another cpu, because i don’t have this one at the moment)
Intel core quad q9600 can run it.
new sub bro also those hd graphics where a part of my childhood
my graphics where a part of my childhood, prince of persia, ms-dos hahahaha
ai voice 👎
Thanks for the comment, in the near future, we’ll return to recording our own voiceovers.
i recently made a similar video on intel hd4000 and it ran crysis fine at low settings at 1024x768
Nice. I’m planning to create a few videos featuring old integrated GPUs, and one of them is the hd4400.
I have laptop intel hd 4600 i run gta 5 texture quality high. Shader quality high and resolution 1024x768 i get 25 to 23 fps and i use mod visual vanilla and reshade game looks so beautifull graphics and its laptop gpu❤❤❤ i7 4710hq i have gtx 980m but i disable it
@@-fb8yn739 why did u disable 980m is pretty good
i hate AI content
yeah, me too
Ai voiceover not content 🙄, but even though we have to type it ourselves get it done from text to speech
Wow, that hit me right in the feels
You put a nvidia 1050Ti and you can play games like death stranding on that machine, not kidding
Yeap, actually, I was going to do that with my rx5700xt, but at some point, I changed my mind at the moment. Maybe later.
got a used pc with a cpu really similar to this, (i5 2400) and gave it to a friend of mine. i put a gtx 1650 super in there and it runs smoothly on a majority of games.
The stutter will surely be phenomenal
@@kaidanalenko5222 not really if you play at medium/low settings at 1080 (using an SSD obviously)
Yep. The game is slow-paced anyway, so it's still an acceptable performance, even with HDD. The probleh with HDD is just loading time if you use highway in high speed, so the game needs time to load asset and you will stop temporarily with loading icon. Source : My own experience with i5 2400 + GTX 1050ti and HDD
You earned a subscriber bro ❤️👍
thanks, bro🤝
@@edgy.channel btw where are you from
Additional proof that integrated graphics suck for gaming. lol
yeap, only retro gaming)
integrated gpus are not made for gaming in the first place
I agree, but looking at the productivity recent igpus like amd’s 780m, 890m, you might change your mind and start looking at it from another perspective)
For playing most recent games, yes they kind of suck, but for older games they pretty fine.
@ yeah, I completely agree with you
