Can I check DCma.means less than 200

I been using the exact same multimeter for for y to thirty eight years and I have never had any problems and it has never let me down and I even test three phase supply with it as well as 240v single phase supply.

You put primary side high current load like equal to 100amp .if 100/5 or 100/1 amps ct means you put more current in primary. 200w load not affected

IR Testers or Meggers are widow-makers unless you follow the below safety precautions: 1. Always wear gloves. 2. Check the probes and leads visually for damages like cracks, frayed necks and exposed wires. 3. Ensure that the device or circuit under test is not energized. 4. After testing, discharge the residual voltage retained by the device (cables, motors and transformers due to capacitive effect) simply by grounding the device terminals for a minute.

Causes of Leakage current: Insulation failure, capacitance, filters, improper earthing, are some of the common reasons. Effects of leakage current: 1) Can cause nuisance tripping of RCCB's. 2) Fire. 3) Electrocution during monsoon. Audio Correction @ 6:39 = RCCB and not MCB

Don't do this if you don't have the guts😮 So we should not measure volts when the probes are plugged into the amps port. Great lesson.
