Anna keeping Robin a secret from Robert and Holly keeping Sasha a secret from Robert are not the same thing. But in both cases, they do have some things in common Robert never got see their births, hear their first words, see their first steps or even rock them to sleep in his arms. With Anna, that her doing by choice but with Holly it was because she and everyone else thought that Robert was dead. By the time Robert resurfaced, Sasha was teen or a preteen. But at least, Robert got to see Robin grow up some. By the time he met Sasha she was a full grown woman. Plus, when Robert thought Robin had died, Holly told him that Ethan was his son to ease his pain when she could've easily told him about Sasha back then. Anna kept Robin's very existence from Robert and his family for only 5 years, Holly kept Sasha's very existence a secret from Robert and his family for like 30 years. It seems Robert and Mac both have something in common besides being brothers, they each have a child a that they never got to raise or watch grow up and didn't meet or find out about until they were adults.

Brennan is trained to manipulate but his intent to make sure Carly stays away is cute. I love how brutally honest he is with Carly. You can tell he really likes and cares for her.
