My cartridge broke in half due to sediment drop but I’m digging it out piece by piece, I put clr on in and letting it sit overnight, hopefully I won’t have to replace the cartridge housing as well…I even used an extractor but it was brittle plastic, can’t find a full brass replacement…oh well, the joys of home ownership, good video though!

Unfortunately, you left off one of the hardest parts, which is how to tighten down the faucet nuts underneath and still keep the faucet lined up properly so the hand is facing the correct way. That is, how to do this by yourself with faucets that are just a few inches from a backsplash.

Make Sure the spring isnt broken inside TorqueMaster tube. And a 3" strut over jstrut is better. If spring is broken convert to standard torsion.

I’ve been watching many videos on drywall to learn as much as I can and increase my skills. You could have still used gauze tape with that gap once you filled it. I don’t see the difference filling a gap then taping on top of it later.

With goboard or even with Kerdi board the mixing valve seal is unnecessary. It's designed for use with water resistant drywall and the Kerdi membrane. I usually run my water proofing at least 2-3 inches outside of the tub or shower and my tile about an inch past that. This step is also unneeded if you're going to do it though you should use the black tape that's made for thinset usually in the tile department not the white or tan in the drywall area.

I have a Klein "transmitter" that I purchased a couple of years ago by itself. If I purchase the Klein "receiver" alone, will it be compatible with the transmitter, meaning that it will communicate with it?

I cant get my screw to turn I have the correct size in it just wont turn. Tried to spray lubricant. Is drilling it out the only option to get the handle off?

This is a great suggestion to remove the bonnet nut, but it did not work for me. I needed to take out the dremel with a metal cutting disk and oh so carefully and lightly, slowly cut the bonnet nut until it was cut NEARLY all the way through. You need to make sure to stop cutting before you touch the valve with your cutting blade. The slower and lighter your touch, the better. Take your time. Once nearly through take a sturdy flat head screwdriver, insert it into the groove you cut, and turn the screwdriver with the goal to break / separate the bonnet nut. Once you are able to break the nut, it will finally come off. The other video Home Repair Hub has on how to install the new trim kit is really good.
