Just more divisive crap. In Massachusetts, since 2010 the population has increased 6.5% according to the US census. The state is not collapsing, that's ridiculous. Also, an unemployment rate of 3.4% and the lowest crime rate in the country. Haters love to hate.

I left california. High taxes, homeless vermin everywhere. Anarchic levels of crime. High fees (registering my pick up truck was $980 for 1 year. In my new state, it was $65 a year.) Soft of crime government that hates the 2nd amendment insteadof hating crimibals and crazies. And congestion on freeways and people. Just terrible. Retired and took my pension with to soend in my new state. Low crime, low congestion. No homeless tents. Low taxes. Lower fees. Reasonable housing, but heavily rising due to those invasive species....Californians.

This video totally ignores the actual reason for leaving. Every one of the states mentioned here are controlled by Democrat-run governments. Their policies of "we-know-better-than-you" style of control over everyday life is what prompts the producers of the state to leave for less restrictive states. When a government encourages the population to become takers rather than producers, it's no surprise that producers began leaving the state. I reject the blanket assertions that weather is the prime reason that people of some of these states are leaving for warmer climates. If that were true, these states would have been losing population since their creation and should be largely devoid of people.

Diversity is a liability.

These states will still be around 20 years from now... probably longer.

For 58 of my 64 years I've lived in a lot of places in what I call "the triangle" of Baltimore/Washington/Annapolis. Throw in a few years in Alexandria/Falls Church/Northern Virginia. All of that area anywhere is from at least OK to fantastic. The DC and it's close in 'burbs have actually made good on the long ago promises to get cleaned up - problems still exist but things are way better than they were in places. Balmer? Nope. It remains a s__t town. Baltimorons seem to revel in that, it blows my mind. I'm a civilian employee at The Naval Academy in Annapolis. When visitors ask me about exploring the area, I recommend downtown Annapolis and the surrounding area and the usual sights of DC if they've never done them. If they have, then it's Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria and Maryland's Eastern Shore (across the Bay Bridge). Literally the onlyi thing close to doing in Balmer is The Inner Harbor, - only if time is short - because there ain't much there even there.

I hate how the solution for all these cities seem to community organizations, while they do deserve praise, I feel it is very shortsighted of you to point out who the government systems, on both the federal and local level are failing these cities
