Just bought this an hour ago. To me it is quite rough going down the esophagus drinking it neat......but.........the brain buzz is quite mellow and pleasant with a content feeling even if your life is going down the drain.

Not a bottle I’m going to get just over priced for me. I’m not much of an oak guy honestly. I can do some toasted but when it gets too old in a barrel I’m not a fan. I’m okay with the regular single barrel Russell’s.

I work at a small liquor store here in Colorado and got the Moonlight Mayhem in about a week ago and was surprised to see it! This brand is just so unique and gorgeous in a sea of lookalike bourbons, can’t wait to taste it tonight and thanks for the video!

I have a 7 yr 11 month aged old potrero. I get alot of licorice and mint flavors from it. Phanomenal whiskey. I went in for a 40 dollar bottle and left with this after the store manager gave me a suggested tasting.

I don't think that there is any such thing as "over oaked, moldy, woody, wet barrel". You are drinking old bourbon, what do you expect? The older it is, the more the barrel character dominates the profile. You like it or you don't, right? Judgemental shouldn't be a thing when it comes to BTAC. Maybe, "Its more oak than I prefer at this point in my bourbon palate evolution"? Those who have the opportunity to experience these expressions are a lucky minority. Its amazing that they exist at all IMHO. 10 years from now, you guys will be laughing at this assessment. At least you're enjoying the ride! 🎉

I love Old Potrero... it just tastes so authentic

Calling the BTAC packaging a fancy wine bottle and fancy label? They are some of the most basic designs and cheapest bottle designs you can source... Nothing fancy about the packaging - it's prestige that makes you think they are fancy. The whiskey is high quality but the packaging is about as basic as you can get. That's like saying Pappy's looks fancy... it's looks out of date and like it was printed on a laser jet from 2001.

Why the fuck is this being recommended to me. I hate alcohol, I hate the nasty ass taste, I hate the stupid buzz it gives you, and I really fucking hate pathetic people who will not shut up about getting me to drink this piss. It's disgusting, you're just drinking bitter rotting bacteria piss bread water, it tastes awful and reduces your capability in every way. Why the ever loving hell is this being recommended to me. I have an enormously low opinion of breweries and all these dweebs who want to tell me about how 'nah man you just haven't found the right piss bread water yet bro you'll find one bro" "oh no bro this is [insert more potent form of alcohol here] it's for MEN bro just drink it bro it's fucking awesome". No it's not, it's a numbing drug that makes you act like a fucking child, not a man.
