Been playing this for over 30 hours now collecting weapons level 37 game is addicting.

We need a part 3.

The cyclops in town in the episode the morgue is explained, how fitting. If ever a quest doesn't work it's usually because someone is sleeping in the morgue. Also their are a couple of wakestone shards in there, enough to make a full wakestone.

Back and forth to Melve with the oxcart and no enemy interference!!!! Actually a good thing as the surprise will be bigger now when it does happen.

Great stuff, but as you liked the game I recommend you to give the first game a shot as it goes for sale at U$5.00 often. The first game has a charm that DD2 failed to captured at some points especially with the cast, where DD1 has a very charming cast of memorable character despite the story being its weakest link as well. What DD2 lacks the most in comparison to the first game, is in monster variety , endgame progression, and music. The unmoored world of DD2 is cool but DD1's post-dragon version turns the world upside down with new and harder monster while exploring more the Dungeon Crawling aspect of the game through the Everfall. The DLC called Bitterblack Isle is the Everfall but ten times better where the whole island is a mega dungeon with different enemy encounters and new endgame gear progression, and the DLC island becomes harder after the first time you beat it. The OST of DD1 is just plain better as it has a very distinct flavor to it as it incorporates both classic fantasy music with rock rhythms. DD2's OST lacked in that department hard as it went for your generic fantasy music with only a few memorable tracks.

I caught it on sale as well, and just started to play. I haven't been able to put it down since, the world is very beautiful. Top-notch RPG for exploration, indeed. If you haven't played the first one, I recommend it. Has a little better story, it's dated, but good all the same. Great video by the way, looking forward to seeing your next. 👍

I like this game a lot. I don’t know what it is. It’s not perfect and I understand the disappointment from people. It’s basically just a remake. But I don’t even really like open world games and this game is just fun.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the game. Aside from the terrible launch performance. The game is just shallow. Like, waaaay more shallow than DD1DA. Which is a huge disappointment. If you just ignore that fact. It's a solid 7/10 experience that could have been a 9 or even a 10. But unfortunately, with what we got, with no DLC in sight, the game just doesn't have grounds to go further. Is what it is. DD1 also left all of us wanting. This sequel was the chance to get what we all thought was missing from DD1, but for every 2 steps they took forward, DD2 back flipped for seemingly no reason.

Been a fan since the original release of DD1 over a decade ago, and DD2 was my favorite game of last year, I hope and pray we get a DLC expansion announced this year, as I would love to have an excuse to dive right back in.

Keeping up with watching everyone's stuff is hard some times I've not seen this yet but I am letting them run

In under two words : missed opportunity

Man, more than 1000 hours and still counting. My friends simply don't understand😂 but really i don't care to explain this time, cuz i kinda find my love of all time. Imperfect exactly, i only hope is they will release a dlc at some point. Or even better a sequel, but a dlc will do ❤

I think a lot of peoples reviews/opinions of the game are clouded by nostalgia and them overrating the original. Don't get me wrong, the original was one of my favorite games, I just don't think it was at the level a lot of people seem to think it was.

DD2 has the barebone of greatness, revolutionary in many aspects even. But damn, it was lacking, in so many things. The combat is great, but not enough variety of enemies to fight, and too easy without mod, the exploration can feel great, but lacking the maps, they all very basic compare to different lanscapes and biomes like Witcher, Monster Hunter, Elden Ring etc... graphics are beautiful, but the color palette is lacking as they choose the same muddy grey old color like DD1 (a small LUT mod turn it 2 times better)

I bought DD2 on a whim...not really my kind thing. 52 hours later...PS5 Platinum....loved it

Thanks for the review man, I plan to pick up this game to fill in the time waiting for Monster Hunter Wilds. The game sounds amazing, seems like a game for me, walking will never be an issue for me as long as there are encounters along the path (I just finished Stalker 2 and I think I walked 100 miles in that game). My only concern is the game difficulty and monster scaling for mid-end game as I heard they don't scale which makes endgame feel easy and boring. What's your though about this? I also know that there's a difficulty mod but I'm not sure if it's still working (properly) Again, thanks for the video!

I really want to love this game. For its deep and fun combat system, its world and also surprisingly good quest design. But the story is bad. Very bad and even worse than Veilguard. The pacing is terrible and often makes no sense. You can have a cutscene with important NPCs showing a big event, and after that nothing happens and no one cares. I even stumbled into the ending sequence without realising it and all I did was explore the world. Sadly the monster variety is low and they are placed at fixed positions. No surprises, no changes, no variation. So The combat is the strongest and at the same time one of the weakest points because its getting stale. This game needs a jam-packed DLC. One that resolves all the loose threads. That gives meaning to the world. That adds NG+ with actual changes and that changes the variety and behaviour of the monsters.

Love the game glad I went this route over the other one by Amazon

Game is really good .. dlss sucks badly .. image its kinda blurry.. i tried alot of settings to improve it but without success. Dynamic Res instead with dlss off .. the image quality its perfect.

I'm enjoying the walk through!

The eager pawn wanting to show us the way, continuously looking over their shoulder if you are still following, waving at you if you linger a bit, blindly rushing themselves into battle😅. It's those stupid little details that make the game really fun to play.

You're my type of gamer. You can self immerse in an imperfect game. Me too bud, me too.

I like the combat, it's impressive how they make different vocations work so good in such an action game. Also like the different gameplay mechanics to fool around with like the forgeries and the affinity system and the pawns are just too good. Sidequest's are bettere then the main story and the game was too easy, especially at the end.

My favorite game from last year. Try out the original!
