I uplift people and stories from our part of the world through my filmmaking.
Currently developing my first documentary series - about artistic women of Torne valley. ‘Meänmaas konstkvinnor’ (art women of Torne valley)
Simultaneously I am making another series with person-portraits on people living in our area. This is shorter stories called ’Meän Elämä’ - which means ’our life’ in meänkieli, our minority language here in Torne valley.

Meänmaas art women - Sanne Pantzare [ swedish and english subtitles available ]
'Meänmaa' means 'our land' and purposes to the northernmost area of Sweden, Finland and Norway.
The series Meänmaas art women uplifts some of the creative women from this area.
In the fifth episode you'll meet Sanne Pantzare, also known as Warginna - a true nature-lover, both in life and creativity. With her roots deeply connected to the wild beauty of the North, Sanne channels her love for the wilderness into everything she does.

Meänmaa betyder 'vårt land' och syftar till den plats där Tornedalningar, Kväner och Lantalaiset verkat. Från bottenviken i Haparanda-Torneå vid gränsen mellan Sverige och Finland, upp till Lyngen vid ishavet i Norge.
Meänmaas konstkvinnor är en konstnärlig dokumentärserie som lyfter konstnärer från området och du får möta konstnärer inom olika konstformer och kreativa näringar från torraste Sverige, Finland och Norge.
I femte avsnittet möter du Sanne Pantzare, även känd som Warginna. Både i livet och i sitt skapande - med rötterna djupt förankrade i Trnedalens mark - så kanaliserar Sanne sin kärlek till naturen i allt hon gör. Hon väver in sin passion för natur, vintage och berättande i sin konst. En sann inspiratör.
