Quick tip ask your neighbors if the outdoor soffits the trim under the roof if there’s are asbestos because a lot of homes have asbestos soffit fascia boards wear mask from now on and gloves please , I was around during installation as a kid and have now watched my mum’s neighbors lose their lives to it and it’s heartbreaking, hopefully yours is low level but wear protection please

Jesus that’s asbestos tiles 😮😮😮my mum had that in our house in the 80s just lay flooring over it

Another amazing video. ❤ Loved catching up on renovations. Loved how you resolved your chimney breast situation. We had a carpenter create our wardrobe in the end as the pax didn’t work for us. Was able to get him to design a shoe rack in front of the chimney which was a game changer. Love the shelves and agree the glass fronts make it more luxurious If you replace the skirting I’d highly recommend Skirting Express. We’ve bought all of ours from there. Painting your MDF we used Zinsser primer first, light sand then another couple of coats of paint. Worked a treat on our wardrobes. Can’t wait to see next weeks vlog and your plans for the coastal bedroom

Loved the video. 1980s home, paint shouldn’t be lead based but would advise when sanding to always wear a mask regardless as it’s so much better for your health. We found out the hard way. Love option 2. Go wild ❤

New subscriber here ❤ Loving the house tour. Can’t wait to catch-up on the renovation videos. What an amazing amount of space you have. Lots of potential 🏠 Highly recommend walk in showers. If you do install them I’d highly suggest having your brassware close to the entrance so that you don’t get wet turning the shower on and off. It’s a luxury position, which we installed in our bathroom and has been the best decision we’ve ever made. X

I think I'm the only option 1 girlie - you can always add wallpaper after and option 1 being your initial choice seems more sleek, can sometimes be distracting with wallpaper and panelling in content

Excited for you both :) xxx As for those fitted wardrobes - you could sand them down - add panel detailing to the fronts change the handles and paint them all cohesive they would look incredible and they look solid too :)

Omg please keep the fireplace! It’s so stunning and will definitely be something special in the future. You can get it refinished into a lighter tiling or something so it matches the final vibes
