thank you for such a relaxing video! i love this style so much! with the music, your art, and the voice over. i've been struggling to stick to a routine with putting a webcomic together too, but it genuinely is such a struggle. but seeing this and how far you've come is so inspiring! what you've accomplished is nothing to scoff at, but for sure taking breaks is equally as important haha. at least that's what i've heard idk >-> subbed for sure, and i'll have these videos in the bg while i try to continue to make my own stuff :)

Awesome video Phllegm!!! Love these paint along videos, would love to see more of these they are very relaxing and inspiring. Sketchbooks are very silly to me cause as a perfectionist myself, you tend to feel like you MUST make art so pretty and perfect for posting on social media. But recently learning that is not the case, the sketchbooks are supposed to by like your thoughts, messy and squirmy, but your thoughts makes sense to you. In your own sketchbook you can be as messy and make mistakes, writing down thoughts or ideas, the ideas that YOU love and not worrying about social media telling you whats supposed to look like. Usually for my own Sketchbooks I like to doodle out my OCS and using different mediums (color pencil, watercolor, marker) Thanks for reading💛

I totally understand about the layer limit in Procreate, but I feel like CSP has such a learning curve (I tried it for the free trial). Maybe it's time to give it another go.

I literally have the same problem. I started to draw with procreate and found a brush that I’m comfortable with and now it’s difficult to switch

I guess my preferred way would be to use procreate for the initial phases like storyboarding and sketching. Take initial sketches in clip studio on my PC to ink and finish. This way I get best of both worlds sorta.

Why not just get clip studio on the iPad, the subscription is not ideal but it solves the problem

I work on iPad full-time. And after 7 years in Procreate, I moved to CSP.. Reusable asset library + templates, are important to my workflow. Plus 10k layer limit? Yes 10 thousand. On iPad.. Mic drop.. I still have Procreate, as I support their endeavors and vision in the creative industry.. 😊

The way you feel about CSP is the same way I feel about Procreate. Drawing on it just doesn’t feel right to me. But don’t give up on CSP. It has so many features that can streamline your comic making process(vector features, paneling, text tools).The Asset Store itself is worth its weight in gold. Especially the 3D assets. I think people get overwhelmed with CSP with all its features, but if you take your time with the app, it can really open the door to all the possibilities you can do with your art. Best of luck!

i know your struggle because i a few months ago when i started to work on my comic i debated on going to csp or procreate 😭😭i ended up making a combo of the two, because i think the two are such strong softwares with their unique things so i make the comic on procreate and then i send it to csp to put in the balloons and the text. btw your videos and youjr are are super gorgeous, can't wait to read your webtoon when it comes out! rooting for youu! 🥳🥳
