@TheHobbyStreak I’ve painted minis for years but 40k always seemed unapproachable. This measured approach may be exactly what I need.

@timothyfrontino2693 I normally pick up Army Painter stuff, and I normally use either their spray or in case of bad weather. I'll use a brush

@chikunejowdo I already have a wet pallet and it's amazing, I've tried using things like cork and painting handles but I've never been able to get on with them for some reason.

@falbihn so I stared with a death guard green undercoat. I used a spray for ease, and I'm not sure if you can get it any more. wow, way to be a fun sponge - you do realise that there are a tonne of people in this hobby who are different levels, and these 'average at best' minis look amazing and achievable? These minis look great. Are they golden demon quality? No, but they were never advertised as that, and it's a very real and achievable target for a lot of people in the hobby. A painted army, regardless of standard, is still painted by someone who's put time and effort into their hobby. Raise people up, don't tear them down. Be better.

I'm glad he did make a video. I just picked up this set for my son and I to get into the game together and neither he nor I are any good at painting. So this will help us out a ton.

@ecuadmail not quite. Nuln Oil is a black wash and strong tone is a dark brown but it could still work just as well
