Bartram Trail Grand Finale and First Ever 30 Mile Day!
I really appreciate your content 😊❤
Hey, Cuz, I finally had a chance to sit down and watch the entire video!!! It was very special, and I loved the part where you hold up the patch that says, "Someone in Blue Ridge loves me." Congratulations and I can't wait for the wedding!!! You guys, be safe on the trail. Love, Ben ❤
Aww I love you Ben! Thank you so much! I am looking forward to that beautiful day!
Congratulations and God Bless you both.
Awesome to see you’re still at it. Looks too cold😂
I'm in tears.. you two are beautiful ❤❤❤
Walking into the snowy silence So cool 😎
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations to you both! 😀
Thank you!! 😊
This is so incredible and awesome. So happy for you to guys. I knew from the first time I met you fierce at that first end of day's hike. You were somebody special and I'm so glad you found somebody special to share the rest of your life with congratulations.
Aww thanks Ramdino! We appreciate that so much!
Awesome!
A nice start, may youall go many miles!!!
Great video. I did my BMT thru hike in 2020.
It was really a wonderful trail!! The scenery was very beautiful, and the view was just fantastic!! Thanks for showing and sharing. 👍👍👍
Grand Loop was fantastic! Did it back in the spring ... looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it :)
Just a Thought. If your hosting a show like this, instead of leaving 20ish minutes of blank stares and confused looks, you should have a long interesting intro about past current and future hikes, and go into your topic of the night. Hopefully whoever will come will be there by question and answer time. Also, cut the dead space after you finish the night.
How do you edit your videos
I think me and my kids ran into you on this hike, do you remember filtering water and 2 guys and a girl stopping to talk for a minute.....? .....anyhow I liked your video all the same....😊
Me and another class of 23 AT thru hiker are thru hiking the Sheltowee Trace Trail this April - beautiful trail!
It was so nice to meet you! Great video!
Beautiful area! The couple of times I've been to Big South Fork - I think I walked small sections of the Sheltowee. I love all of the rock cliffs and arches that are in that area!
Brought back many memories of my FHT hike. So many familiar scenes. Thank you. -Retread
😮 wow! Impressive!! 🥾👏👏
That was a large Timber Rattler.
Hi, can you give me the contact info for the shuttle driver you used?
Wowwwwwwww, that was a wild and crazy experience!!!! I think the guide and the camera guy did an amazing job. I'm so happy the Flamingo landed safely on the ground!!! I loved watching it as much as you did doing it!!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with everyone!!!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I had a fun time compiling the video between what they recorded and what Eric recorded. The staff at Skydive Carolina were so professional and I loved the experience and the atmosphere. So glad that daddy could be there for it!
You did an awesome job editing the video!!! You made it look so seamless! I love the way you mix in the stills with the motion to enhance your storytelling. You're really great at editing these videos and making them very interesting!!! Keep up the great work!!! Love you, cuz!!! 😍😀
Aww thank you! I really did put a good bit of time and thought into this one since it was such a special day and memory!
I use a pine twig to remove cob webs from the trail. Sometimes it’s a lot of waving that twig up and down but well worth not getting a face full of sticky web.
State line begins at 4:05 Trail of Tears 6:33
Are all of these trails on government property, or are some on private property? The boat ride looked like fun.
Awesome hike!!! I loved the waterfalls. How much did you have to hike on paved roads? In another video, I saw people using those water packs where you fill them up with water, and the chemicals separate the bad stuff from the water. I finally got to see you guys using them in action and not just in a demonstration. Congrats on the 100 miles!!! That's quite an accomplishment. I remember driving in Alabama all those years and how hard it is to get to the top of those mountains in my truck. It looked like quite the feat going up those steep trails to get to Alabama's highest point. I can see why your feet always looked the way they did at the end of the day. Bless your heart. Well, another awesome hike for the Fierce Flamingo history book!!! LOL Keep up the great work, cuz!!! Love you!!!
Love you too! I always appreciate your comments! ❤
It’s so awesome that you’re still out there loving the Trails. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you. I hope you are doing well!
Congrats
Thank you
Beautiful…thanks for sharing nature with us ❤️
Aww thanks Ms. Lott!! Thanks for all your support!
Awesome video cuz!!! I finally had a chance to see it. I loved the snow, and the frozen streams of ice (10:48). LOLLLL The sunset at 3:50 was out of this world! I loved the waterfall of ice cycles at 6:57. Glad you had a wonderful first hike for 2023 and over 6,000 ft. With all of the recent hiking deaths and missing hikers in California, I'm glad you made it back safely. Love you, girl, and be safe. ❤
Thank you Ben! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I miss my favorite cousins 🥰
You did good! Favor follows you!
What was the temperature 🌡
Maybe low 20s. 40 during the day.
Blessed indeed! Thank you for the lovely video.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
nice video. I think me and Ace may have to do this one.
Hello Lane! It was really awesome! Harder with the snow and ice, but I think a little bit warmer weather would make it perfect!
Nice job! Type 2 fun is exactly right. This one has been on my list for awhile.
Thank you. It was wonderful and I look forwarded to doing it again sometime in warmer weather!
Thanks for sharing your adventure. Congratulations on another successful hike. Your video captured the weather and trail conditions nicely and the scenery was awesome. The smile and excitement shown through. 👍 -Retread

Loved the video, cuz. Seeing you accomplishing trails and increasing your miles made me prouder and prouder with each one. I love the way you see God's hand all around us, especially in the outdoors. I find myself being more appreciative of what I have when I see you always showing gratitude for all of your experiences and friends. Keep up the great work. Another incredible video. You are absolutely amazing doing this awesome journey on weekends. You are the true example of a professional backpacker/hiker!! Keep it up motivator.
Those are some high compliments! I really enjoy being outside. Truly blessed with this life! Thanks so much 🥰
Fierce, my friend, you have outdone yourself on this one. I like the music and the voice overs. They show your spirit and passion. Your videos just keep getting better. -Retread
Thank you Retread! Glad you enjoyed it!
Gorgeous presentation friend, these shots are spectacular as well as whole intro actually! Love it🔥
So glad you enjoyed! Compilations are always my favorite to create. The memories are so sweet 🥰
Love you saw Willa Creek! You met THE Willa on your hike back in April 2021.
Awesome reunion!!!!! The lady at 09:05 reminds me of your mother, Donna. It's a good thing that Fresh Ground is there, so you don't have to pack a lot of food. I participated in a six-day campout at Clark Hill as a Boy Scout. We ran out of food two days before we left and had nothing to eat but the fish we caught. LOLLLLL I loved all of the waterfalls. They were spectacular. I loved how the people took their dogs with them. These are some time indexes of the waterfalls and other things I found interesting to help other viewers. 04:37 ??? 05:17 Pigpen Falls 09:05 Donna look-alike 09:30 Harvey Falls 09:42 Litlog Falls 10:25 Ice, Ice, baby! 10:32 Chattooga River 11:40 Hiker's Peril Falls "All iced up!" 13:21 Whitewater Falls 15:51 Boat on the River (men fishing) 16:31 New sign marking trail progress 16:43 Willa Creek 16:47 Toxaway suspension bridge going to Lake Jocassee 20:04 Laurel Fork Falls 20:32 Virginia Hawkins Falls (with the prettiest smile in the world) 25:10 Progress sign and observation tower (Highest Point in South Carolina) Love the fog! You’re a special kind of cousin and I’m grateful for you! Love you Ben!! ❤️
@@fierceflamingo3433 You're special too, Fierce. Love you too cuz! ❤Family Forever!!!!!
Enjoyed seeing the feeds by Freshgrounds and the camping activities. Yes Jesus was an outdoorsman. Over 50% of His pericopes were spoken outside.
Congratulations Fierce! IMO was of your best videos. Great opportunity for me to relive my hike of last year. Live your passion! Live my motto and live until you die! -Retread.
Loved the videos of your journey.
I'm surprised an alligator didn't get your dog dogs and alligator infested waters is not a good idea
