This palette reminds me so much of the colourpop aurora struck and the colourpop alice in wonderland palettes. I know they're not dupes but they have the vibes. I love how you dupe palettes

Well that wet n wild story was... pretty wild 😂😂 And since many of us have shed tears laughing about it, it was also wet. 💦

I mean, my 2023 palette (a depotted colour spell by profusion palette in a magnetic palette) got multiple "empties" because I was putting it back into my palette drawer (the lower drawer of a desk, like 12 inches away from the floor). And the palette slipped off my hands in the most ridiculous way ever (which has never happened to me with a palette before or since) and it shattered. The singles popped out and shattered all over my floor. And it is the only reason I was somewhat close to my very ambitious "using it all up" goal, because I lost half the shades to the dumbest drop ever. This year I feel like I'm stepping again in my 2023 hubris (diet version) by taking the two autobalm palettes I have (pic perf and day2nite) that I had originally purchased to travel and haven't taken to travel in my last two trips and declaring them my pan that palettes. My goal is pan in every shade, which the devil in my shoulder reasons that shouldn't be that hard because they're a total of 7 shadows original to the palettes and one repressed shade where the primer used to be so a total 16 shades, and the pans are small and I've been taking them on trips since I got them in 2019 so they already have use. I know I'm a very unfocused panner so I have the option of using them both as companions both because they both have only two neutral mattes and five shimmers (not counting the repressed shades, one which is a primer setting shade and one of the three shadows I'm thinking as "gimme" shades and the other a black that may or may not just get decluttered) to be used either with the mattes or other mattes. The angel on my shoulder is reminding me that it may still be a lot of pans to hit even if I managed 17 last year and the palettes are less than that. A monthly palette roundup sounds fun, but knowing you like seasonal color it would be fun to see a sasonal ranking, what palettes you thought embodied the season and what you atually reached for color wise and usage wise througout the season.

I look at my pan that palette as my focus palette not my only palette. As long as I use at least one shade with every look I don’t feel confined. I get less progress sure but makeup gets super boring otherwise

I pretty much pan everything in my collection rolling style apart from eyeshadow. Eyeshadow I let myself have fun, this year I am doing nplb and will see how that goes

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying right now! That palette yeeted itself out the window! I think it's safe to say that you were meant to part ways with it since Mother Nature intervened. That's how I see it. Don't feel bad because that's how everyone loses their hat at the Grand Canyon 😂

I remember seeing the clinique cola pop blush at the airport once and being so curios yet too intimidated by the shade. I'm sure if I saw it again I wouldn't be so scared to get it. The shade looks so interesting!

Just before you announced that you're not doing the project again, I was thinking that maybe this year instead you should do a palette rotation project. Maybe for your larger palettes, you could do a 1 week 1 palette and take photos of your looks. I don't do level up or pan that palette for the same reasons you mentioned. I did a palette rotation last year, and it was extremely helpful, and I learned a lot.

I realize this video is old but SG is my favorite eyeshadow brand, I discovered them in late 2020 and have yet to find a brand that tops them. I really appreciate their shimmers because I am older and I don't want super sparkly all the time, I find they are mature friendly. I just don't think they are talked about enough. Two that you got are in my all time favorites (Troops and Speedway). Really nice look here.

Colourpop's Precious Metals palette and Ensley Reign Harvest Moon were favorites for the fall...and yes, Beauty Bay's Wilderness palette was one of their best.
