Its epic, but no v brakes please, v brakes are criminal
let me tell my personal experience with this particular bike. first, braking power it's AMAZING. rims have ceramic brake surface, brake pads are for ceramic rims, v-brakes are Avid Titanium. the last time i serviced them was back in 2019. they have similar performance like hydraulic disc brakes but they don't need maintenance. clearly you have experience only with cheap v-brake systems. the industry needs that people spend money and not using brake system like mine that works exactly like disk brakes but with a fraction of expenses. and they work flawless even in the rain to. 😂
the bike weights 11.2kg and rides like a dream and this is even due to the light weight of v-brakes. i can afford converting this bike to disc brakes but honestly why i would complicate my life with periodic maenteinance just to replace something this efficient

good for having it, beautiful design, good for nostalgia and pretty good for listening music like an ipod. works flawlessly even with recent apple airpods. and for the last, it's a nice conversation starter, most of people forgot how iphone was before lol

Thank you very much! i was ready to purchase it but the bike needed a lot of parts to make it like new. I'm obsessed with getting my bikes in top condition as much as possible. i was a fantastic bike to ride though. best regards

@@kris8165im from Tirana, i have limited budget for bikes but parts are relatively cheap here, i mean used parts. how much cost a single speed bike where you live? my most expensive bike that i purchased without doing any upgrade was 650€, a road bike in mint. my other bikes make me spend a lot more but in upgrades. my oldest bike that i have it since 2010 cost me at first 300€ and now in 2024 the total of money i spent in that bike it's like 1200-1500€ and to be honest i can't even remember exactly lol
