    Love your vid, I just liked and subscribed! I just bought the last two CT125s available in Australia, new from a dealer in Victoria for AUD $7900 each. Sadly discontinued due to no longer complying with dual ABS regulations. They are so fun to ride that I sold my bigger bikes. I'm having fun accessorising them now, adding lots of crash protection so my three kids can learn to ride on them without damaging the bikes. I think most guys buy too much bike with dreams of conquering the world (me a few years ago) but never get around to it whereas the CT125 is ideal for just about everything. Safe travels!

    That was awesome. Two cool Hondas for sure. Nice to see the new one helping the old one out. Honorable mention to the boy with the giant Rubik's Cube on his back too. On another note I wanted to share a performance mod update since we spoke about my Trail125 seat upgrade. I just had a shoulder surgery and of course told myself no worries, I can still ride my Trail125 one handed as I still have my throttle hand. Plus I recalled doing that Soba Challenge video where I rode around one hand even in traffic. I gave it another try and immediately noticed my new seat upgrade caused me to slide forward off the seat evetytime I down shifted plus it made me realize how much more non-stable I was in the seat not having my left hand gripping the bars and the seat not having that more planted feeling. So if your doing even 50-50 on and off road I'd say do not do what I did to your seat. You'll loose rider stability. I know Corbin now offers a seat for the Trail125, pricey but nice I'm sure. Another TH-camr told me they got one and it's nice, still a bit firm though. I'm starting to think the seat is the way it is in order to keep the rider in place and not slide forward. Just sharing the experience as I'd not want you guys to spend the money on the mod and be unhappy. I am ok with mine as I'm just on road. If I were going off road I'd buy a Corbin to put on for those occasions. Happy holidays 👍

      Thanks for watching, we wasn't sure if the trail could do it ,,,but it definitely had the power to pull the old 3wheeler out the woods,,,, thanks for the heads up with your seat ,I did buy a seat cover that looks like the old school trails but have not had time to put it on ,we plan on doing some trails next summer but nothing crazy ,more about enjoying the great outdoors and exploring new areas, a slippery seat could definitely be trouble on a trail I will keep that in mind if I decide to put the cover on my seat,, ,hope you have a fast recovery and happy holidays to you sir!!

    • @hillsideadventures4024
      @hillsideadventures4024 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dannymotovlogs4254 it takes a little patience getting the cover back on because you have to get it past the brake pedal then line up the pins, once that is done you may have to lightly tap on the cover with a rubber mallet to seat it all the way ,sometimes you do,sometimes you don't but DO NOT try to put the screws in and tighten them down to seat the cover or you risk stripping out your engine case and that would be a whole new problem lol hope that helps,,, if you have any more questions please let me know and thanks for watching

    Hi, a great little bike, a friend of mine has one & he loves it. Unsure of the cost in the States but here in Oz (if you can find one) they are AUD$8400 give or take. A bit too pricey for me, so I'll stick with the CT110 Postie for now.

    • @hillsideadventures4024
      @hillsideadventures4024 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello ,,thanks for the comment and sub,, the 125 is almost impossible to get here in the states, dealership told me they only get 3 units a year ! I have personally only seen 1 other person riding one,they started out around $3500 now people asking 5000-9000,, it is crazy. The ct110 is just as fun but they stopped sending them to us in the 80s ,,I have both and both are capable of miles of smiles..

    Thanks for the shout out Hillside Adventures 🙂! That speckled stuff goes away. I ride gloveless on occasion and no black stuff on the hands. What happened to you with the soap and water method is why I opted for the zip tie way. But that surely was no cake walk either. No matter once they are on their on. I wanted to share this on the Grip Puppies experience. A couple weeks ago a buddy and I went riding in the city and on a state road. He was on a 1000cc bike and I was working to keep up on my CB500X. The CB500X is a viby bike in my opinion. Plus my added engine guards make that even moreso. At a sustained speed of 65mph I decided to touch around the handlebar area to see how the vibration frequency was going at a fast higher sustained speed. Basically everywhere the Grip Puppies weren't felt uncomfortable to hold onto for long periods. They definitely offer a dampening effect for the hands. If your wife still has discomfort I'd consider putting on the 2 point Barkbusters with the added external bar end weights. Also consider the Kitaco handlebar brace. All these things combined with the Grip Puppies really tamed the vibration down on the Trail125. I believe Revzilla might have the Barkbuster stuff. Bar brace is found on Ebay. Just stuff to try in the future if these alone don't do the trick. But I'm hoping they do 🤞

      Horses are cool, but these little bikes are cheaper and easier to maintain and I would bet more fun to ride.

    Congrats man!!! I discovered this bike a few weeks back, then I quickly came to the realization that it was very highly sought after n not available anywhere!!!! The first one I found was in FL and dude was asking 6400 for FL resident or no state tax and out of state for 5900. As badly as I wanted one I couldn't just throw that extra money away... Maybe if it was the last one on earth. thanks to TH-cam and other fellow 125 Owners, I was given a tip to check out a place in GA...Brand NEW! 4387 out the door! So I flew from New Jersey to Jacksonville, rented a pick up truck, went and got the bike, and drove her back home. Only got 11 miles on it so far...Waiting to register it.. etc. Enjoy it!

      Awsome! That sounds like a fun road trip ,we love these little bikes they are so much fun to ride and with gas prices... You just cant beat them, we ended up only paying 250 over mrsp ,,it did hurt a little bit lol but at the end of the day it was worth it to get my wife on the trails ,, we hope you enjoy yours as much as we do thanks for the sub. We will have some trail videos soon!!
