Peter Serafinowicz / Gelg - Buttercup Android
Made a video for the Peter Serafinowicz/Gelg electronic, Boards of Canada-esque track 'Buttercup Android'.
Originally heard it as part of his 'Solid Steel Radio Show' guest mix from 2013. ( link here: soundcloud.com/ninja-tune/solid-steel-radio-show-7-6 )

Brother Beyond - 'Call Me Lonely' (Get The Sun Remix)
มุมมอง 1.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
12" vinyl rip. Fairly rare, largely instrumental remix of an old Brother Beyond B-side. First heard this on an old compilation cassette someone gave me years ago and didn't realise it was a Brother Beyond remix. Saw a promo 12" of it in a charity shop a while back and grabbed it. You can't tell it's Brother Beyond, as it's just the female backing singers on the vocals on this. Having since hear...

Up Yaws - "Dedicated To _ _ _ _ _" ("Fucking Cunt / Awkward Bastard") 1984
มุมมอง 3.1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Mystery single-sided 12" from 1984 on the "Tell It Like It Is Records" label. Some debate online as to who actually recorded this. Nobody seems to know for certain. Lot of discussion about it here. www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=18902.0 One of the great unsolved mysteries of our time. Not clear whether the band is actually called Up Yaws. That was just taken from the label on th...

Twin Peaks theme slowed down acapella cover version of The Loco-Motion. Pointless really, but it killed a few minutes making it.

Leyton K Curtis - This Is What I Said (Bruce Forsyth Cut-Up)
มุมมอง 1.7K11 ปีที่แล้ว
Found this on an old hard drive and thought I'd bung it on here. One of Leyton K. Curtis' cut-up tracks taken from his old Myspace page. Think it's from around 2002. Saw there were a couple of his tracks on TH-cam, but not this one. Think it's one of his best! Bruce Forsyth reads us one of the many sexually-explicit passages of his autobiography.
Human Remains - Rob Brydon / Julia Davis Character Improvisations
มุมมอง 157K12 ปีที่แล้ว
Couldn't find this on TH-cam already so thought I'd stick it on here. Taken from the DVD of Rob Brydon and Julia Davis' BBC2 show "Human Remains". These are some of the initial character improvisations, most of which make Julia Davis crease up! No copyright infringement intended. Just sharing this as it's very, very funny.

Absolutely - Frank Hovis sings "Tears" by Ken Dodd
"Miss Cissy, before you move out of our apartment to live in Greenwich Village with those nasty hippies, it is important that I warn you of the possible consequences..."
And Rob never breaks character 🤣
I wonder if Prince ever saw this!I bet he would of laughed 😊
Absolute classic stuff
CALL NOW!!
BBC
I know Absolutely wasn't really a "punchline" kind of show but it would've been funny at the end, after having sold everything in the shop, if they said they'd now made 45p profit.
I offer £10 to everyone I show this video to if they can watch and do what the Dalek tells them to without laughing. None of them have ever earned that £10.
Mother what'll I fuck now 😁
One of my favourite song👍👍👍
I'm 71 and I don't remember ever hearing this rendition but It's great.
Old Tel told the girls about Blankety Blank and starting singing the Supermatch Game segment.
So fucking good. When Brydon says 'oh laugh, oh laugh', that's a-class acting.
....still pissing myself in 2024 😆
This encapsulates the reality of marriage quite accurately tbh.
just brilliant!
Such a great actor, Rob Brydon. As much as I enjoy him on game shows etc it is a bit of a waste of talent. I wonder if he'll look back on his career and think, 'Fuck...' Although he is loaded, which will soften the blow, a bit, but still.
Ironic that Coogan, at least in The Trip, was always bangin on about him bein the proper actor, when Rob is different class.
Cool :D
🏆
Proof positive that only a singer as good as Dylan himself has the capacity through scansion and emphasis to turn the written word into sung poetry. This is so fascinatingly awful that it out-shatners Shatner.
The whistling tube thing……..😁
Loved the Fast Show and still watch it on reruns today. However, I've never seen this sketch before. Utterly hilarious take on George Formby. Brilllliiannnt!
Rob Brydon is a comedy genius ❤ I just realised this on seeing this and the TV with Steve Coogan.
You just know they’d completely nail an impression of Kate & Gerry McCann
Bit random but okay
Absolutely brilliant
0:49 😂
I've been looking for a little tartan drummer girl in a plastic tube ever since. 😄
im sure my mum has one up her loft that i took back from school trip to Culloden about 35 years ago!

omg I haven't laughed so hard in a while. I love foley art and came in thinking this was a serious behind the scenes. Fantastic! My belly hurts.
How did he get away with this when Arthur Atkinson was cancelled for saying shit
The f word is cut off at the end with the film cut, so it doesn’t count.
Brilliant
Pfffft! William Shatner said “hold my beer”
First time viewing for me. What a treat. Thank you.
My dream would be to work with these two….. just for one day. If I died (a not slow or painful death though) the day later, I’d be happy as Larry Lamb 🐑
CooL
such great talents
Her eyes behind those glass....wickedly funny! (I'm a specky four eyes myself and still find it hilarious)😂
Jeez...for the life of me I couldn't remember what this series was called! But will I ever forget thrm practicing for their First Dance - Never😅 Spinderlaro*😂😂 *excuse the spelling
Rob sounds just like Hugh Grant with a posh English accent
French!
This is actually good.
Thodse Radio 6 progs somewhere to be found?
The talent here is incredible.
Is it........?
Tis
I've been out of the UK for over 30 years so I only found out about 'Human Remains" yesterday when Julia done an interview with Rob. I can't believe I missed this all these years, was this before Nighty Night? The only thing I didn't like about Nighty Night was the husband with cancer. Rob Brydon should have played that pasrt.
I have Human Remains on dvd. Classic. Loved the first series of nighty night but found the second series a bit too crude and wasn't as subtle.
Thanks for the heads up about the new interview with these two: th-cam.com/video/qtsV9T6qubo/w-d-xo.html
I love the way the staff and customers could not care less
Gwyn was better lol
Gilbert and Frank sent me here. They couldn't remember which Dylan tune it was.Sebastian certainly made this his own!
Pretty much no one has commented on this in the last 5 years. I don’t know how I got here either but if you’re reading this it’s still going to be ok.
I would argue that Human Remains is the best thing Rob Brydon and Julia Davis have ever done.
Agree. It’s so good.
