i agree there could be a more fitting person for that role as she doesn't fit the "active agent" body shape(just like the equalizer series lol) but her role shows you the bad guy doing everything wrong and being miserable while the jackal was having loving moments all through the show till the last episodes. Maybe it was meant to show you bad guys aren't always doing bad stuff and vice versa.

This is the best live action adaptation of any mange or anime out there so far thats why anime fans loves it, as an anime fans yes this is one of the best live action adaptation from the portrayal of characters to the scenes which they did really adapt everything unlike other adaptations where they changed a lot plots or worse some character stories. Not a lot of people will appreciate it coz obviously you cannot relate it to real life situation compare to Squid Game.

The problem with this ending is simple, ultimately without a confession Killabrew has nothing. Her eyewitness has already misidentified the wrong culprit, and without that she has nothing that puts Justin at the crime scene. Aside from that, all she has is circumstantial evidence that Justin hit SOMETHING somewhere around the night of the 25th. Unless she gets a conversation on the record she has nothing.

A) he already confessed B) the case is closed, there was a verdict so it cannot be "reopened". C)It literally was a tragic accident, there is no "deeper truth".
